One thing that Amelia adored about Seattle was the wide variety of art galleries that were available for exploring. Being an aspiring artist, that was a dream come true as the art galleries tended to offer endless possibilities when it came to discovering some brand new inspiration to get the creative juices flowing. Amelia was a photographer and liked to design clothes. While she took pleasure in viewing and analyzing other works of photography or fashion designs, she also enjoyed gathering inspiration from other mediums as well. A simple brush stroke or a certain color in a painting could easily influence the theme or the main focus in her next photo shoot or next clothing design. She never took any part of the artwork for granted, as she could appreciate the fact that every aspect of the artwork had worked together to create a masterpiece.
Amelia wandered at ease through the Seattle Art Museum. She was definitely in her element. She glided slowly past each and every piece of artwork, pausing at certain pieces that especially caught her attention and then repeated the same route, making sure that she captured all the creative energy that now bubbled inside of her. Afterwards when it would be time to leave the art museum, Amelia knew that she would need to write and sketch down all the interesting thoughts and ideas that had sparked in her brain when analyzing the other art.
For most of her life, Amelia had been surrounded by a creative environment. Both her parents (who had adopted her when she was about one year old) were both artists who had worked hard to establish their own art gallery right in Seattle. Whenever Amelia had time to spare from her work at the university, she helped out her parents by helping them run things. They paid her a fair fee to work there and allowed her to display her own work any time she felt the need to display her art to gain an outsiders opinion.
Amelia also gained alot of inspiration from her brother, Dean, who studied music at a senior level at Seattle Bay University, the same university that she attended. She found no trouble in gaining inspiration from his lyrics or the music he played, for he had alway been there for her to guide her through every aspect of her life. If Amelia needed him, Dean would always be on campus to offer advice and opinions on her latest artwork. She always embraced his constructive criticism, for Dean seemed to only improve her original ideas.
To reflect on the artwork that she had the pleasure of viewing, Amelia took a seat on one of the benches placed in the center of the expansive room. Taking one last glance at her surroundings, Amelia began fishing through her handbag with her hands and pulled out a notepad and a pen and began to sketch down any ideas that she had thought of at the art museum. She only wrote down brief reminders now, knowing that she would expand on them later when she had access to all her equipment. Amelia was so absorbed within her own creative thoughts, she failed to notice that she wasn't alone in the room like she had originally thought.
