Candid. Cunning. Chaste
Name: Cecelia Emerson Reese
Nickname(s): C, C-c, Cec
Major: fashion
Age: eighteen
Grade: freshman
Birthdate: Feb 4th
Orientation: Straight
Location: Southampton, NY
`Appearance ,,
` Figure
An average shaped girl, there is nothing too important to point out about her figure. She has no disfiguring scars, she has all her limbs. She isn’t freakishly short nor extremely tall. Cecelia is, as I previously mentioned, rather average. Done growing, she has passed the slightly pinched teen stage of development and is now completely in proportion. In fact her mother delights in the fact that off the rack fits her perfectly; she says it means she’s a ‘perfect specimen’. However dear C-c, who prides herself on being above average, finds the thought of being just like everyone else rather sickening.
` Facial Features
Don’t let Cecelia’s doll like face fool you. She isn’t as sweet as her face may lead you to believe. Cecelia has a strong born structure, that she may or may not try and tell you is ‘good breeding’. She has a heart-shaped face, with a pointed jaw and prominent cheek bones. Which are even more accentuated when she smiles, and dimples form on either side of her lips. By nature, Cecelia is fair skinned, which works for her, since she has dark hair. Brown in colour, her hair is naturally curled in long thick waves. Flowing suite from her hair, Cecelia’s eyes are also dark, a chocolate brown to be exact.
` Style
Cecelia has always had an interest in fashion, however far be it for her to merely just follow a trend. It’s part of the reason actually, why she has chosen to study fashion. She likes to take a latest style and make it her own. Daring to pair that dress with that necklace, that no one else would have thought of. Cecelia’s personal style can be summed up in one word; Feminine. If it’s cute with lace, you can guarantee she will adore it. Hair Accessories are Cecelia’s best friend. Headbands being her most favourite. She is rarely seen without a band in her hair.

Best Feature: “My sense of style… obviously. You see dear, It’s not about what you look like, it’s about how you dress it.. I could make the ugliest girl in the world look half presentable with some wax strips and a new dress…”
Worst Feature: “Well I could say my dimples, but truth be told, and don’t you dare tell anyone, I’m actually rather fond of them.. Oh I don’t know, the whole ‘cookie cutter’ figure I have is rather annoying.. I’d kill for a disfigured toe nail… Actually.. no.”
`Personality ,,
` Candid
Cecelia is a rather ‘honest’ person. She does not sugar coat things, and never tells people exactly what they want to hear. She knows she lacks tact, and doesn’t pretend to be surprised when the things she says upsets people. She knows being rather blunt with people can hurt them, but honesty is the best policy, is it not? Of course, like everything when it comes to C-c, it’s on her terms. If she has something to gain from being sugar sweet, she might just do so. Though even when she does have something to gain from white lies or tactful comments, there are those times when her tongue gets away from her and her true thoughts simply ‘slip’ out.
` Cunning
That’s become such a nasty word hasn’t it? What is wrong with using your intelligence to make sure things come out your way? As far as Cecelia sees, absolutely nothing. There is nothing more satisfying then having something pull of the exact way you wanted it to. Of course, there is only so much power an eighteen year old has. It is very frustrating when a plan fails, leaving C-c with the very thing she didn’t want. Of course, she’d probably smile and pretend that was exactly what she wanted in the first place. Oh to be young and far too proud to admit when you are wrong…
` Chaste
Despite what her appearance or reputation may say, Cecelia is a rather chaste young woman. When it comes to issues like sex, she is rather old fashioned in her approach. No, she isn’t waiting for marriage, she’s just waiting for someone who is worth her. Maybe she has high standards, but she has yet to meet someone who deserves such a thing from her. Chaste she may be, but an idiot she is not. She isn’t naïve enough to not understand what some men are after, nor silly enough to give it to them.

Positive Traits:
`Loyal
Yes, Cecelia does have her bad points, but actually she is a sort of good person to be friends with. If you are lucky enough to be liked by her that is.. She’s fiercely loyal and protective over those she considers friends, and views backstabbing as the worst crime of all.
`Driven
Cecelia is a hugely motivated young woman. She knows what she wants in life and works solidly towards those things. Yes, she can be a tat ruthless in her methods, but you have to respect the fact she has the drive to seek things out of life.
`Idealistic
Though idealistic is a good word to use when talking about Cecelia, it’s not really in the true sense of the word that one must refer. Cecelia believes that the world should be good and right and beautiful for her. Now, that is a little selfish of the girl, and she does feel bad at least a little when others suffer, but she knows the truth about life, it’s not fair. She just wants her life to be perfect.
Negative Traits:
`Stubborn
When Cecelia digs her heals in about something, it’s not a great deal of use trying to fight her. She’s stubborn and always must win. Even if she is dead wrong and knows it, once a challenge has been issued she cannot back down until victory is in her grasp. Some could say she is almost desperate to succeed.
`Internal
In some situations it may seem that Cecelia is a heartless cold bitch, and well, honestly sometimes she sort orf is, but other times? She isn’t. Cecelia doesn’t tend to show deeper negative emotions too easily. Of course, anger is shown easier then others because it doesn’t make her as vulnerable, but as far as grief, shame and things along that line goes, she hides them.
`Snob
Cecelia is a snob. There is no other way to look at it. She snubs her nose at anything but designer label, complains about ‘dirty people’ on the streets and has even said no to a date in the past to someone because of his parents lack of annual income. However, she can appreciate a person who has found their way into money through whatever means.
Greatest Ambition: What else would it be? To design clothes for her a label of course. A label owned by herself and one Allana Whitter of course. Though the name Allana will have to go… It’s far too common.
Greatest Fear: Greatest fear? She has no fears… At least that is what she’d like people to believe. No, she has fears.. Her greatest being the fear of loosing everything. Her status, her friends, her dreams.. The world she is apart of is so fickle, and one wrong more could cost her everything.
`History ,,
What’s this? A rich family that isn’t completely dysfunctional? Well now that’s new. Cecelia has had a privileged life in almost every respect. Growing up in The Hampton’s, where the rich of New York vacation, it is no surprised that Cecelia saw life as one big holiday. Her father’s owned a string of highly successful holiday resorts, which left him with s lot of time and money to spend with his family. Needless to say, the young Reese child was spoilt.. Perhaps even spoilt a little rotten. Her parents, while they treated Cecelia very well, were hardly the best role-models though… Old money never is.
Cecelia’s mother was a southern Debutante who not only came from very old money, but had been raised to believe it was her whole job in life to look pretty and get married. An ideal that she was quick to try and instil in her daughter. However Cecelia, though she loved her mother, had a strong bond with her father and chose to take after him. A shrewd business man who did whatever he needed to do in order to get his way. Not only did he work for, then later take over the family business, the man had his own ventures.
With her father on a pedestal, Cecelia started dreaming her own dreams. She wanted more from life then just to get married and have children. While, yes those things would have been nice, she also wanted to really do something with herself. Surrounded by fine clothes her whole life, it wasn’t any wonder that during her early teen years she started to grow a lot more fussier about her outfits, and payed more attention to Vouge. It wasn’t too long before she started to draw her own ideas for designs down, and it became clear to Cecelia that it was how she wanted to spend the rest of her life.

Best Memory: “My best memory? Goodness that’s sort of hard. I’ve had so many wonderful times in my life that it is hard to choose just one moment and give it the label of ‘best’. Though perhaps my sweet sixteenth might be the best one? It was certainly a huge milestone in my life, not to mention one of the most elegant affairs ever thrown by any of my friends. Of course, it’s still talked about in reverent tones and I have heard that girls still try and match it, of course no one ever will. It was in the garden of one of daddy’s resorts. Tea candles and fairly lights served as a soft, romantic glow. Tables covered in white silk and lace, with pink flowers as a centre piece. Devine food, dancing… and a pearl necklace from daddy. What more could a girl ask for?”
Worst Memory: “Ho hum, must a share that? Can’t I just… Tell you about the time I accidentally ruined a Stella McCartney pair of pumps? No.. Very well then. This goes no further, you hear? Tell a single soul and I will rip off the head of your favourite childhood stuffed toy. The worst memory of my life was saying goodbye to my parents. While I was excited about college, I couldn’t not help but feel absolutely dreadful about the fact I’d not be able to see them every day. Now, laugh if you may, but I am actually rather close to my family. I’d never spent more then a week away from my mother, and though my dad often travelling for business ventures, we were inseparable when he was home. I kept all these emotions to myself though, smiling as I said goodbye to them. It wasn’t until I was a lone on the plane that I started to bawl my eyes out..”

Alright, so Alyson had to admit that she had issued the boy with a low blow. She hadn’t meant to make a pass at his sexuality though, she had merely been trying to point out that there was a pattern forming with the last names of the girls he was starting to date, and since she had run out of female siblings she had to use her brother instead. In fact, now that she thought about it, it was a bad idea entirely to suggest William date Chris. As far as Alyson knew, Chris wasn’t gay. Then he had been away for a while..
No, if he was, Alyson would know. It wasn’t something he’d keep from her. Especially if he knew how upset she would be if she found out he had. Alyson Kent, keep your mind on the subject at hand. Oh yes, that was right. She was scrutinising William’s relationship with Kayla, not her brother’s sexuality. No matter which was Alyson tried to spin it, she was a little uncomfortable with the whole idea. She knew it might have been a little selfish of her, but she honestly could not help how she felt.
“Won’t be anymore? Huh…” Alyson let out a thoughtful murmur. Frowning at the boy a little. Without looking away from him, she sat herself down on the bench beside Will. It was as if she thought that by looking at him long enough, she’d discover any secrets he was hiding. Despite the awkwardness of the situation, Alyson felt a surge of protectiveness for her sister. If, and she prayed this wasn’t the case, he was only with Kayla because of some sick desire to be with Alyson… Well there would be hell to pay.
His words definitely sounded genuine, and Alyson knew the boy well enough to know when he wasn’t being honest. Maybe it was time she tried to accept this blossoming new romance? Get over herself and her own awkward feelings and put someone else first? Well there was a novel idea for Alyson. To put someone else first. If she had of put Kennedy first, they’d still be on speaking terms. Which probably went for Kayla too. They had been fighting long enough… Something had to change.
Alyson let out a sigh. “I haven’t been talking to your brother. I tend to try and avoid him. It’s just… Kay is my sister and I have to be protective over her.” She shot him a somewhat menacing glance. “You seem to genuinely like her, but be warned, hurt her and you die..” The glare broke into more of a grin as the blonde started to relax. She’d actually kind of missed hanging out with Will. “So… How is Kayla anyway?”
