charming, peacemaker, heart-broken.
Name: Brayden William Tyler
Nickname(s): B, Ty
Degree: Film
Major: Film
Minor: Humanities, theology
Age: Twenty-one
Grade: Junior
Birthdate: Sixth of May 1988
Orientation: Heterosexual
Location: San Diego, California
`Appearance !
When people look at Brayden for the first time, usually the first thing they see is his massive height and build. He is quite tall, standing at almost six feet and three and a half inches; towering over almost all his classmates and even his father. He weights a little over one hundred and eighty-five pounds of pure muscle. He likes to work out, and has no markings of any kind, as in tattoos or piercings. Another noticeable feature on Brayden's face are his dimples. Whenever he smiles, you'll see them.
Brayden is fair-haired and pale. No matter how many times he tries to get a tan, he never can. But he's learned to like his lake of color and has accepted it as just one more thing that makes him unique. He was born with straw-blond hair that has never been dyed, expect for black a few times during Halloween as a "punk". His eyes are a light, pale blue. As far as clothing goes, Brayden isn't big on style. One accessory you will almost always find on Brayden is a hat.

Best Feature: Eyes. He likes how his eyes are always blue. Not that they could change, really. Many people have said that his eyes are the window to the soul, but it's hard to see his. Most of the time his eyes are determined and calm.
Worst Feature: He doesn't like being so tall. Sure, being over six feet is a plus for him, as in this day and age being tall is considered 'sexy' and 'manly'. However, he doesn't like the fact that he's so tall. It sometimes makes people nervous around him.
`Personality !
Charming.
Almost as charming as James Bond, Brayden has a way with his personality. The way he walks, talks, acts, even what he says under pressure. To some, it might not be the exact definition of charm or charisma, but others might think so. He likes to be a perfect gentlemen. Always answering with a "yes ma'am" or a "no sir" or "Miss So-And-So". His parents were both born and raised in the deep south and have a full-blow mental breakdown if they caught their son simply answering someone by saying "yeah". He's calm under pressure and always quick with a smooth word that gets him the girl he's been after.
Peacemaker
Almost never one to start a fight, Brayden is known as the peacemaker. He would like nothing better than for everyone to get along. He's often the one that gets the party started, as cheesy as that might sound. He's also almost always starting parties or crashing them. And, when I say crashing I simply mean he finds his way to parties that he was never invited to and takes over. Brayden can be loud and seem rude, always trying to strike up conversations with anyone and everyone but rude is never his intention.
Heart-broken
Alas, behind his colorful and friendly personality lies a darker side. Granted, it's not too dark; just dark enough. Last year he broke up with his "one and true" love, and since then he's been a bit depressed. He keeps his feelings hidden very carefully and almost no one knows of his broken heart, or at least he thinks no one does. He tries to pretend that he can still have his way with the ladies, but unfortunately, it's no longer true. He hasn't been out on a "real" date since the break-up and has a very "love sucks" attitude when it comes to matters of the heart, though he tries to keep it all well hidden.

Positive Traits:
- Determination: One thing that Brayden believes he is, is determined. Even if something takes him years to complete, he will stop at nothing to finish it. He hates starting things and then having to stop. It's the feeling of failing for him that drives this trait.
- Positive: He tries to be positive when most people would be negative. Granted, it always doesn't work, but he feels like he tends to be more positive than most. Though, sometimes he feels like his positive nature makes him look like a goody-two shoes, which he is not.
- Outgoing: Outgoing and the center of attention should have been tattooed on his forehead at birth. Even as a child he would always bring his family together by putting on little plays or having family night outs as his reward for good grades.
Negative Traits:
- Laziness: Though Brayden is very determined to get the job done, he can be extremely lazy as well. If he's already in his PJ's and done for the night, he won't be going out.
- Stubborn: Once this young man has made up his mind on something, he's very hard to convince otherwise. He'll take your objective into consideration, but it's not very likely that he comply if he's already made up his mind.
- Loud and Obnoxious: Yes, it's true. He can be a tad overboard when it comes to doing anything with other people. He's determined and stubborn, so it's hard to shut him up or convince him that you don't want to do something. He can be almost childlike until he gets his way.
Greatest Ambition: Wants to become a successful film maker; making films and television or even indie films. Horror is his specialty and favored genre.
Greatest Fear: Never finding love
`History !
Brayden William Tyler was born on a surprisingly chilly day in May in San Diego, California. His father, Henry had been called into emergency surgery at the hospital; a local surfer had been bitten by a rogue shark. Lauren wasn't due with the couple's first baby for another two weeks and told her husband that she would have dinner waiting whenever he got home. To her surprise, about an hour after Henry had walked out the front door, she had her first contraction. Almost two hours later, Brayden arrived. His lungs full of air and could be heard several doors down. Henry had been notified about his wife just in time to get a replacement and he watched the last five minutes of the birth.
The Tyler's routine with Brayden soon became normal again: Henry continued with is job as a general surgeon at the local hospital, taking fewer shifts so he could spend time with his wife and son. Lauren, a science teacher at St. Augustus' Private School, took the following year off. Brayden's parents both came from money and so, financially, things were better than most. His parents had both moved to California after graduating from UCLA. His father was from Georgia and his mother from Texas. Because they had no family in San Diego, they were the stereotypical happy couple. Which was true on both the outside and in their personal lives.
Brayden went to all the finest private schools, starting with kindergarten. His mother had gone back to teaching when Brayden was four and his father had moved from surgeon to head surgeon, specializing in neurosurgery. Money was never an object that was out-of-reach for young Mr. Tyler. He made friends easily and his personality was pretty much the same as it is today; well perhaps Brayden is louder and more sure of himself than he was as a sixth grader. High school was uneventful until his junior year.
During his Spring Break, a girl named Jenna Mitchells moved in next door. She had long brunette hair with waves that surrounded her face and dark chocolate eyes, with determination in them; much like Brayden's. The two quickly bonded over their mutual love of sports and by the time school ended they were the hottest couple in their class. During senior year, Brayden stayed by Jenna's side and did whatever she did: the senior trip, prom, senior skip day, the whole nine yards. They even applied to the same school: Seattle Bay University. Unfortunately, Jenna was wait-listed. Her grades and "lack of money" compared to others wasn't enough.
Convinced by his beloved Jenna to go to Seattle Bay, anyway, he did so. The first semester, Brayden was unlike his normal self. He was quieter, his grades slipped and he tried to quite several times. After Christmas Break freshmen year, Jenna also made her way to Seattle Bay. Brayden quickly returned to his "normal" self. Things between Brayden and Jenna went on peacefully and happily for a little over a year. During their sophomore years, things changed. Getting ready for their date, he received a call from Jenna that would change his life.
The call floored him, completely. He hadn't expected this sudden change in Jenna. She had simply said that she had grown up; people changed. She never gave him a reason, but she wanted to see other people. He never asked her for an explanation, just his space, which she gave him. He took the memories they had shared and locked them away deep inside his heart. He never wanted to feel so heart-broken again. But that was last year. He's a junior now and has moved on, or at least tried to move on. Brayden acts like everything is alright, which for the most part, things are okay.
He still feels a mix of so many deep emotions when someone mentions her, or he sees someone who looks like Jenna. Brayden simply tries to keep that part of him--that part that had once belonged to Jenna--locked up as he moves on with his life and school.

Best Memory: The first time one of his films was shown in public. It was held at the local community theater in San Diego along with five other kids his age when he was nine. It was corny and cheesy but it was a way to get his foot in the door. He won second place and received five hundred dollars to furthering his love of film.
Worst Memory: As cheesy as it sounds, when his ex broke up with him. He had had the whole night planned out: dinner, then going to the Space Needle for the first time, then who knew? But her call before he was supposed to pick her up ended it all too quickly.

`Writing Skill !
[/blockquote]As they continued to talk, the more time they spent with each other, the more comfortable Jacob became. Lindsay wasn't like any of the girls he had met before. She was just so different, in a good way. He couldn't help but keep thinking that. She was the first girl that had ever had a real conversation with Jacob Linus; and she never once mentioned Tyler in a way that would seem like she had been more interested in his brother than in him.
As she talked about her career in fashion he listened carefully; it seemed like such a huge thing to get into. It seemed so scary. He'd never make it in the fashion industry; he was almost one hundred percent sure of that. But Lindsay seemed to have an air of "Lindsayness" about her; he didn't know how else to describe her. "That sounds like a lot of responsibility. But I know you'll do fine." he said genuinely.
They had slid under the car as he began to explain how the engine and the rest of the car worked. He hoped that his second explanation, about how cars and the human body were almost the same, would make more sense to Lindsay. After he was done speaking, he overheard Lindsay say he was dirty and watched, almost as if a different person, as she told him he was dirty and removed the dirt with her hand. He tried not to break down and start a full-scale laugh-fest, but a small little smile escaped. "Thanks." he said quietly.
"Uhh, yeah, I live here at the motel and then Tyler comes here on his days off." he said, switching gears as she changed the subject. He had been so swept up by Lindsay that he almost hadn't seen the question coming. He definitely hadn't been thinking about where he was living until she had asked. But it was probably a good idea to change the subject before they got into any trouble. "But most of the time it's just me here." he said, finishing up his thought.
A game? he thought puzzled. What kind of game did she have in mind? One that involved staying under the car ... or maybe going inside--he stopped. He needed to focus, so he took a short but deep breathe in. Then as she revealed the game, he smiled and couldn't help but feel a bit stupid. "Like twenty questions?" he asked.
Listening to Lindsay's first question, it would be easy. A million dollars? Easy as pie. "Hmmm, a million dollars, eh?" he mused playfully. "Well, I'd start off by paying off my student loans, any kind of debt Ty and I acquired, maybe take Ty on a trip somewhere. Then I'd buy my own baby: a V12 Vantage Ashton Martin." he said with a smirk, thinking about the car. "Okay, my turn. If you could live anywhere in the entire world, where would it be?"
