Nickname(s): Dee, Addy, Elle, Delle
Degree: Art
Major: Fashion
Minor: Business Administration
Age: Nineteen
Grade: Sophomore
Birthdate: January 27th
Orientation: Heterosexual
Location: South Hampton, New York
`Appearance !
Adelle has always been one of the kinds of girls that you could call naturally pretty. Lucky girl, right? She is the kind of classic beauty that looks good without makeup, just as she does with it. Not to mention she is quite a fashionable young lady, so looking in-style hasn't ever really been a problem for her. Taking an interest in fashion, the girl is always wearing some kind of uniquely fashionable item. Following trends is easy, but Adelle sometimes tends to put together outfits with an entirely unique look of her own, likely mixes of past and current trendy styles. Coming from a family of wealth, Adelle is used to being able to afford classy clothes, but when it comes down to it, she really has no problem with turning thrift store styles into something fabulous.
Dee stands at about 5'10", and has gorgeous long legs that she doesn't have a problem showing. Her skin tone is a natural tan, but prone to burning if she doesn't use some kind of sunblock. As for her body structure, she is quite a thin young woman, but healthily so. She has curves in all the right places, and balances her interest in food with a bit of excercise.
With a naturally bright face, people have said that Adelle has a way of simply smiling with her eyes, a feature that many photographers have prided her on in her past modelling career. Her eyes are a soft blue, ringed with a darker blue that really makes them stand out. Always alive, her eyes are a telltale factor of her emotions, and as much as she tries, she seems to be incapable of hiding them. While her face is long and narrow, her lips are fairly proportionate, and her smile is stunning, dimples and all. A blonde at heart, the girl has gorgeously long flowing locks, naturally wavy and incredibly thick.

Best Feature: "A lot of girls wish they could be as tall as me, and it's one thing to be tall, but you've got to have nice legs. I show mine off all the time, and photographers love that in a model."
Worst Feature: "My ears are kind of small, and my nose is kind of big. They're things about me that I wish were different, but.. nobody is perfect. I can deal."
`Personality !
BOLD: Dee is in no way a shy human being. She speaks her mind, she wears what she wants, and she acts the way she wants, without being afraid to do so. Some girls are afraid of pursuing their goals, but Dee is not. When she takes an interest in something, she'll make it known, especially when it comes to boys. She isn't afraid to be coquettish around the opposite sex, and confidence is a huge factor.
DEVIOUS: Though Dee is usually clear in her intentions, sometimes other people are not. She's been told she is a hard person to read, because of her eccentric personality. The girl tends to play a lot of mind games, and sometimes has a hard time with honesty. Lying has kind of become a custom of her family, so in a way, she has kind of learned to adapt. Avoiding the truth seems to be kind of a self-defense mechanism of hers.
CHARISMATIC: Adelle has never been the girl in the back of the class who nobody knows. When she enters a room, she fills it with a lively personality, the kind that draws people in. The girl has an air of confidence and friendliness about her, which is helpful in meeting new people. She has a charming persona, and a natural sense of leadership.

Likes: fashion, clothes, design, accessories, men, coffee, ice cream, bright colors, skirts and shorts, classy boots and shoes, purses, music, parties, movies, modeling, swimming, running, ice hockey, skating, volleyball.
Dislikes: hospitals, small children, fake people, unnecessarily bitchy girls, uptight fashion designers, models who act competitive, peanut butter, boring upper class people, prissy old ladies.
Positive Traits: AMBITIOUS: Adelle is a goal-seeker, and strives on succeeding. She puts in exceptional effort at everything she attempts, and does everything possible to reach her ambitions. Having ideas and hopes and plans for her life keeps her going, and she relies on having a direction to go.
FRIENDLY: Though the girl is from a class of wealth and snobby people, Adelle really doesn't judge like the rest of her social group does. She doesn't care if you do or don't have money, or live in a mansion or a one-bedroom apartment. If you give her the chance, she'll likely have a reason to be your friend. Sometimes, just to keep up with her best friend Cecelia, the girl is forced to choose her company. She can be a bitch, but prefers being nice. It's easy to hate people, hard to love them.
OUTGOING: Dee is the kind of girl who is brave enough to take risks, and to try new things. A lot of the wealthier people her family associates with get stuck in their traditional ways, and hardly stray from what they are accustomed to. Exploring new things, new places, and new people is something Adelle loves to do, because it keeps her life interesting, and keeps her mind open to change.
Negative Traits: FLIGHTY: Although the girl has her dreams and ambitions, she has been known to have a faltering state of focus. She changes her mind about things often. No matter how much confidence a person has, she still gets scared, and when she does, she tends to deal with it in irrational ways.
APPEASING: Sometimes Adelle finds it hard to be a best friend to Cecelia when they are both such headstrong women. She was born to be a responsible leader, but has always been forced to push such an instinct aside and do what is necessary to avoid confrontations. The good thing is that when the time comes, she can be relied on to be in control. Unfortunately, the girl is a people pleaser, and sometimes puts herself in difficult positions in order to make other people happy.
COMMITMENT: Dee tends to have a hard time with committing to certain life-binding choices. She's had long term boyfriends in the past, but it always seems that something scares her. Something always makes her change her mind about her decisions, because she is afraid of being trapped, and of letting herself get hurt.
Greatest Ambition: To become a well-known fashion designer with a successful career, a positive reputation, and solid relationships with the people she loves dearly.
Greatest Fear: Her greatest fear is to lose focus. She never wants to lose her ambitions, or her friends, or her family, because without it she would be an incredibly different, probably less happy person.
`History !
Dee grew up in The Hamptons of New York, where her family lived a posh, lavish lifestyle. Jacob St. Clair married his high-school sweetheart Diana Kendalls, and had two children, Adelle, and her younger brother Logan. Jacob was a man from a rich family, and a wealthy business man very prominent in the music business. With old money on both sides of the family, and a generous fortune generated by Mr. St. Clair's record company, they had everything they needed.
Diana and Jacob were always loving parents, but never very attentive. Their children were their pride and joy, but they never seemed to spend quality time with them. Hence the reason for Dee growing close with her brother. Diana was always occupied with her job as a personal assistant to an assortment of celebrities, and Jacob was of course busy being a business man. Needless to say, the family wasn't the closest unit in The Hamptons.
Dee grew up getting everything she wanted, and doing what she wanted, while still respecting her parents. Except when it came to making a decision about her future, her father seemed to expect that she would follow in his footsteps. Fortunately, Adelle's mother was the one in support of her daughter's interest in fashion, and was the one who introduced Adelle to the WUofA through speaking with Cecelia's mother. As a teen, Adelle was a model, and quite a good one. Even through the years of her modeling career, her father was never very supportive.
Now that Adelle is away from her family, and happily pursuing her interests, she is finding a little more freedom being out from under the scrutinous eye of the wealthy rich in New York. It seems she is finding a little more individuality living away from home, and has developed more of an interest in her freedom of choice. Let's just say she is taking a lot more risks than she would if her parents were around to criticize.

Best Memory: One year when the girl was sixteen and modeling for a local clothing label, she was casted to be a part of a popular runway fashion show. The girl was nervous, but at the same time incredibly excited. It was an amazing opportunity, and she didn't want to ruin it. On her last walk, she ended up slipping at the end of the runway and stumbling a bit. Attempting to recover, she pulled herself together, put on a smile, and did a little twirl for the audience, a move that gained her fast applause and recognition from the designer herself just for the effort and attitude.
Worst Memory: When Adelle announced to her family that she was planning on moving to Washington to study fashion, her father was actually quite angry. The two ended up fighting for over an hour about the plans for her future, and it resulted in Dee breaking down and crying. She was devastated to lack the support of her father, and angry that he couldn't just accept her choices. Though the tensions have resolved between them, Adelle still can't help but resent her father for being so closed-minded.

`Writing Skill !
* Let's face it, nobody really enjoys putting on a fake smile and mingling with the crowd your parents gather up and force you into socializing with at their dinner parties. Leanne was one of those people who would rather be doing something more entertaining, rather than answer the bland questions that her parent's friends would pester her with about things like her plans for after high school. She never really kept her answer the same. Some would hear that she was planning on going into psychology, others would hear that she was taking time off to travel the world, and at some point, she was sure she'd even told someone she was going to become a police woman, which was probably one of the farthest occupations she could have come up with in comparison to what her interests really were. It really was amusing when her parents heard what Leanne was telling their friends, and then planned awkward little conversations over coffee to see if she was really being truthful. The girl knew it was a half-hearted attempt on behalf of her parents, because she was pretty sure they were only concerned about having to defend the concept of having something like a car-wash attendant for a daughter.
* Tonight happened to be a dinner party organized on behalf of Leanne's mother, in an attempt to celebrate some important success in her career. She was successful in the fashion industry, and while Leanne was incredibly interested in her work, she was not all that interested in the friends that her parents brought around the house. They were boring, and Lee was getting a bit tired of pretending to show excitement over the talk that was currently fluttering about her house. Finding an escape, she'd gathered a plate full of some of the appetizers that were still left out in the kitchen, a few pieces of fruit, crackers and cheese, and some tiny sandwiches that were really quite tasty. With a plastic cup in her hand, containing pineapple juice and a generous amount of rum, she snuck out the side door of the house and crept along a line of trees in her backyard to avoid the gathering on the patio. Once free of her yard, she slipped out the back gate and made her way along the grassy path that sloped slowly down towards the private beach behind their home.
* It was getting a bit later in the evening, and the sun was starting to disappear out on the horizon above the water, coloring the sky in a palette of beautiful orangey-pink tones. Having walked a fair distance down the beach, the girl took a seat on a grassy patch just before the sand started to cover the ground. She was still wearing the knee-length, royal blue, summer dress with a halter neck top, a classy choice that looked nice and impressed her parents at the same time. Taking off her silver flip flop sandals so she could stretch out her legs and feel the sand on her toes, she placed the plate of food on the grass beside her and took a sip of her drink. As far as everyone at the dinner party knew, she was just drinking juice. The rum was a secret ingredient that Leanne had long ago found necessary in order to survive the fake atmosphere of such dinner parties.
* Flipping open her cellphone, she scrolled through a couple of text messages, pushing the silky waves of her blonde hair over her shoulders. Sure, she was a party girl and loved to go a little crazy, but not a lot of people knew that she actually quite enjoyed just sitting on the beach and watching the sun set. It was calming, and relaxing, but only for so long. After a while she would likely get bored and attempt to find some excuse to leave the dinner party to find something more exciting. Her lucky older brother had already managed to escape the dinner to attend some other social event with his friends that Leanne was certain he'd made up. She didn't even know why she was forced to attend the dinner herself, because she was pretty sure that nobody would notice her lack of presence for quite a while.
