Wild, Moody, Selfless.
Name: Callie Croft Vanderbilt
Nickname(s): Cal, CC, Lee
Major: Journalism
Age: 21
Grade: Senior
Birthdate: December 17th, 1986
Orientation: Straight
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
`Appearance ,,
Untidy blonde hair is the first part that people usually notice about Callie Vanderbilt. It’s usually kept shoulder length and surrounds her almond-shaped face, accenting her cheekbones ever-so lightly. Her complexion is clear and a pale white, although she doesn’t look ghostly. It’s merely the Swedish background in her blood that gives the paler skin, the blonde hair, and the starlight blue eyes. She tries not to wear too much make-up, but tends to splash on some dark mascara, eyeliner, and eye shadow. Her lips are full, and usually a rosy red color. Callie’s smile ranges from a smirk to a toothy grin. Both highlight her cheeks. When the girl laughs, her nose wrinkles into something much like a snout. Other than that, her face is of normal proportions and expressions.
As for the rest of Miss Vanderbilt’s body, she stands around five feet, seven inches, giving herself just a little bit of leverage. Her body isn’t that of a super-fit supermodel, but it carries characteristics that perhaps anchorwomen or TV spokeswomen have. That is to say, she’s built for casual exercise, and nothing more than that. Her hands are a bit big; her fingers are long and slender, she says it’s for writing. Callie usually has her nails manicured, but isn’t afraid to get them broken or dirty. She doesn’t take much pride in her feet; they seem ‘too big for her body’.
Callie is usually seen in such extremities as sundresses or sweatpants. For a long night out, a pair of jeans or a skirt never does the girl wrong, and usually a top that dares to show off her cleavage or a top that doesn’t leave much for the imagination makes its way onto her torso. Callie likes to show off what she has, even if she believes it is very little. There’s nothing wrong with a little sex appeal.

Best Feature: “I guess I’d have to say my hair. I can make it go whatever way I want and I just love it that way. I also get complimented on it a lot, which isn’t that bad either.”
Worst Feature: “Oh GAWD how I hate my feet. Seriously, I must have some kind of disorder. They’re big and I never look good in heels.”
`Personality ,,
Wild: Okay, so everyone has their wild side. But with Callie Vanderbilt, the wild side is taken to an almost alarming level. She’s reckless, a recluse, and a real hell-raiser. It takes a lot to slow her down when she truly gets into it. Most of her wild side comes from drinking. The twenty-one year old feels as if she is invincible when she drinks; she doesn’t need to feel the hurt from anyone. Being wild is just another way to get the adrenaline pumping and the blood flowing. It’s hard to control the girl when she becomes a wild stallion.
Moody: Callie has been known to be perfectly fine at one point, and then to fly off the handle at the next. She takes some things more seriously than others. She knows how to have fun and party, but sometimes, enough is enough. When the girl secludes herself in her room, it’s time to back off. Callie sometimes doesn’t know when her anger or moodiness get the best of her, and usually hears about it later in the day when she is less susceptible to freaking out over spilled milk.
Selfless:This blonde haired girl is the one that would take care of anyone who ever needed help. Without her feelings in tow, she has learned to take care of friends who are drunk beyond recuperating. Cal has learned these techniques from experiences that she herself has been through. The selfless Callie is the person seen at a party who is getting fresh sheets, a glass of water, and a puke bucket for the poor slob who is true drunk to function. This nature is very maternal.

Positive Traits: Helpful: Callie is an advice lady for most of her friends. She takes careful time in considering their problems and always looks for the best alternative out. She is very easy to talk to, and most people would consider her as trustworthy. Although, she’s just trying to help, and usually ends up spilling secrets to the wrong people at the wrong moment. Callie isn’t afraid to buy a few drinks when one of her friends is in need of it, as well.
Strong: Although she might not be strong physically, Miss Vanderbilt is strong mentally. She can block out tough situations to focus on the matter at hand. It’s easy for Callie to ignore the bad things and focus on the finer things in life. Callie also prides herself in being able to take someone down with a few select words. She’s slightly narrow minded, but uses it to her advantage by being able to focus most of her attention on cutting someone down when they truly deserve it.
Persuasive: Whether it be sexual, emotional, or just plain physical, Callie can usually persuade anyone to do whatever she wants. The moment she locks eyes with the person she’s trying to persuade, something like a trigger sets off in her mind and she will refuse to back down. The young woman doesn’t care what she has to do to persuade someone; she just does it.
Negative Traits: Stubborn: It’s Callie’s way or the highway in most cases. Once she picks a side, she sticks with it, and refuses to see it any other way. This stubbornness also leads to a bitchy cockiness, where she begins to lie just to back up her case. She also will bring up the argument at later times, just to prove that she was and still is right. Temper tantrums usually follow if someone proves her wrong.
Distracted: Callie isn’t usually the girl who is distracted by shiny objects; she’s the one distracted by parties, sex, and just the overall college experience. The girl doesn’t tend to care about school work when the week is filled with parties. She believes that procrastination is an asset that she can use. Callie also believes that sooner or later, the work won’t even matter. So why bother?
Arrogant: This young lady believes that the world somewhat, if not totally, revolves around her needs and wants. Callie couldn’t care less if someone has a problem with her; that’s their deal and not hers. Sometimes, the overconfidence gets her into some sticky situations, but she believes that she can always get out of it. Callie believes herself to be fearless and invincible, and although she is mistaken, it has taken her places in life.
Greatest Ambition: To someday column for ‘People’ or ‘Cosmopolitan’. Callie believes that with her skills as an investigator and an advice giver will eventually lead her to column for famous magazines. She aspires to one day win a Pulitzer.
Greatest Fear:Well, it may seem a little odd, but Callie’s greatest fear is getting shot at a bank holdup. Ever since her older sister died during a holdup working at a bank in her hometown, Callie refuses to go into banks.
`History ,,
Callie Croft Vanderbilt was more of an accident than anything. Her parents had planned on only having one child in her older sister Lizzy, but then Callie showed up. It wasn’t too difficult to be born into wealth, but the young girl didn’t necessarily feel like she was wanted. Half of the time, Lizzy was the one to get the attention with sports and musical talent, and the other half of the time, Callie got the attention with her academic and writing talents. There was always a bit of sibling rivalry, but the sisters were always tight through the craziness of the Vanderbilt family.
Her life changed forever one October day, when the bank that Lizzy worked at was robbed. She’d been shot for only three thousand dollars. After this occurrence, Callie’s life began to fall apart. She got into drinking, smoking weed, and slacking off in classes. Her parents didn’t notice too much, finding a loss in a daughter was obviously overshadowing Callie’s steady slip into depression. Far into her sophomore year, the young Vanderbilt battled addictions and demons that she couldn’t face. Until one day, her parents figured out why their daughter had lost 50 pounds in one year and why she was always sleeping in her room or out with her friends. They got Callie help.
Not fully over her depression, Callie still continues to drink heavily. She is fully off drugs; cigarettes are now the only thing she smokes. Her parents have moved on, but somehow, Callie is still stuck on waiting for her sister to come out from the closet and say, ‘Surprise!’

Best Memory: Callie’s first night with a boy has to be her best memory. It couldn’t have been a more perfect night. It was her senior prom, and her date brought her back to a room filled with rose pedals and chocolates. It was the sweetest gesture she’d ever been given. And although it was only one night with the boy, she hasn’t had a better romantic night since.
Worst Memory: The day she found out that her sister had been shot at the bank. She was sitting in her freshman biology class, dissecting frogs, when the principal came in. He informed her of the news and she didn’t believe him at first. It was only a few hours later when Lizzy Vanderbilt was pronounced dead at the hospital, that Callie realized what actually happened. The funeral was utterly life-shattering, and it took a long time for Callie to regain her strength. She felt like she’d lost her best friend since the day she was born. It was traumatizing, to say the least.

(A sample from B&B, yeah?)
The Element had become Veronica's new home. The dance floor, the bar, the third stall in the bathroom, the ally out in back... it was all her territory. She now came nearly every night, drunk or high, buzzed or tripping.. she could be found on the dance floor between drug binges. She was a regular, and she knew most if not all of the personnel that worked in every crick and crevice of the club. Veronica knew people, and people knew her. That's why it was rather shocking to find Connor working the security point. Had he been there before?
Veronica's high heels stuttered to a stop right before the entrance, her heart seeming to jam itself into her throat as she stared at him. Their previous encounters had been... well, hard to stomach. How could he come into her haven now? After he'd been through rehab and everything... she didn't understand. Of course, addictions were a hard thing to face... Vero would be the first to tell anyone that. But through the loss of Connor, she'd become weak.. but then stronger. Addictions still ruled her life, but she felt some sort of control that she hadn't when she was coupled with Connor. Things were different then.
The woman lit a cigarette, trying not to get any ashes onto her little black halter dress that she'd dug up from storage... or was it something she'd found in some bloke's house last night? She couldn't remember. Nonetheless, she wanted to look good. Her hair was down, pushing past her shoulders in a slight curl. Whoever she'd been with this morning was very accommodating. He'd even gave her enough junk to last the week. Of course, this was the only reason she'd been with him. Veronica had her addiction and she needed something to ease it. It was nothing like it had been with Connor...
She leaned against the brick wall of the club, smirking as teens with their fake ID's walked up to him and presented themselves as ladies and gentlemen far past their expiration date. They used to do that. They used to print fake ID's. They used to go out all night and not give a shit what they did. But that was then. And now that he was clean, Veronica couldn't help but to continue and wait for him. She was devious, in a sense that she would bring him back into addiction. She longed planned on it. It was the only way she could have him back.
So with a last puff of her cigarette, the woman tossed the smoke to the ground, stamping on it with her heel as she worked her way up to him. Veronica didn't care how she looked, she didn't care about the circumstances in which they were in, she didn't care if he was clean. He was hers, and she was going to claim her prize.
"Connor Matthew Wells," her voice was soft, savory, drawn-out. "This is the absolute last place I would expect to see you."
