Jokes on me, its gonna be okayIf I can just get through this lonesome day Callie hadn't worn her best clothes to class that day, so it was a bit of a bother to change into something presentable in to the Kappa house. Although she didn't really feel the need to impress anyone, there had to be certain standards that the girl abided by. So a simple pair of jeans with flats, a tight white American Eagle shirt, and her classic button-up coat would do. Probably not the exact same thing that she would wear to a party, but it would do for now. After all, it was only Nate. And last that Callie knew, he was going after Madison. Not like she was egging that relationship on or anything. After all, it was always fun to watch a senior go after an underclassman. They were so... silly. It was just for the senior's entertainment, anyway. Sooner or later, Nate would drop her and move on.
The Vanderbilt disappeared from her apartment approximately 15 minutes after she'd gotten offline with the boy, and with the walk only being about 5 minutes away, she'd be right on time. Plus, she could get a quick smoke in. So with a quick flick of her Bic, she was off, walking along the campus line. Her blonde hair was curled today; which was why she'd been so late to class earlier in the day. Oh well, it was no big deal. She didn't much care for the class anyway. And if the teacher dropped her, Callie would find something different to pick up. Maybe she would go back to creative writing...
Inhaling the cigarette, she checked her phone. There were now two minutes left in her walk, which was just enough to finish the smoke and just enough time to meet the maximum amount of time in which she'd told Nate she'd be at the house. Callie had a pretty good sense of time when it came to distances and traveling. Looking up to the sky, she figured it was going to rain again soon, like it always did in Seattle. Sometimes, she hated the weather. But today, a little rain wouldn't hurt her demeanor. It was just one of those days. Maybe after she'd gotten through a few beers with Nate she would go back to her dorm for a nap before going out again that night. That sounded like a good idea.
She came to the threshold of the Kappa house, tossing her burnt out cigarette onto the ground and stepping out it with her heel. Callie opened the door, walking inside as if it were nothing new to her. It really wasn't, but she wanted to acted as if she owned the place. It was a lot more fun like that. Climbing a few steps, she reached Nate's room and with a swift knock on the door, she smiled, "You best be ready for a party, Mr. Moore."

I feel I'm going nowhere fastI ask myself how long this is going to last
Kappa Sigma was most definitely not one of those uppity, legacy-following sorts of fraternities. Well, okay, it sort of was. But it certainly didn't come with cleaning service, which was sort of ironic, as you'd think all the trust fund children could afford one. Well, whatever the reason, the house was quite often a mess. Today, however, Nate had been taking the rare trouble of attempting to clean the house up a bit, before a non-frat boy entered the premises. "Cleaning," of course, meant half-heartedly kicking some empty bottles under the table and trying to the piles of random stuff in somewhat of a logical order. This act, one must note, bestows the highest honor unto whosoever should be the beneficiary of such honor. It generally meant that Nathaniel Moore, for whatever odd reason, actually thought something of you.
In conjunction to the "cleaning," Nate was actually dressed up rather properly today. He'd been taking pictures of himself again, for a project. It was partially why he loved going to an art school. Any completely neurotic act could be written off as an assignment. Earlier in the day, he had been all gussied up in neat clothing, a button-down, nice slacks, and brown loaders. Even a cute little bow tie, just to complete his look. Yes, he had looked every part the TA that took his job a tad too seriously. Now, however, he'd adopted a slightly more relaxed attire. His shirt untucked, his shoes kicked off, and his tie undone and hanging lazily around his shoulders.
Resting back in his chair, the boy admired his slightly less cluttered bedroom. He grabbed the nearest beer. Alcohol sort of just appeared out of thin air in the Kappa house. As usual, the idiot was picturing a nondescript, but attractive woman undressing before him. Seriously, this boy had some issues. His daydream was interrupted, however, by footsteps. Save for a few brothers who'd been hanging around busying themselves with nothing, the house was empty, so it must've been Miss Vanderbilt. The knock followed by her voice confirmed this.
"You know I'm always ready." He grinned. "'Specially if you brought some of your pretty little friends with you." He was joking, of course. He does have other things on his mind, after all. Granted, they were mostly getting drunk off his arse, but still. "Well, Miss Vanderbilt, would you care for some refreshments?" He plucked up a beer bottle from nowhere and smirked. "Or you are officially starting your twelve step program?"

Jokes on me, its gonna be okayIf I can just get through this lonesome day The fact that the frat house looked at least a little cleanlier than Callie had seen it in a while was a big compliment upon her stature. At least Nate cared somewhat about her... at least enough to knock a few beer bottles away from the stereo and the TV. Although she couldn't lie, her apartment looked just like the house, just smaller. And maybe the beer cans and bottles would make her feel more at home, but she also liked things that were clean. So the fact that Nate had at least tried, well that was real nice. At least she wouldn't have to worry about stepping on any cans and getting beer all over the place. A nice little path had been cleared for her way in.
The other fact that really took Callie for a loop was Nate in his clothes. They were... dressy-uppy. Was that for her to? She figured not, but also figured that being dressed up was better than him being in sweatpants and a sweatshirt. After all, she'd put some effort into her appearance as well. Well, she'd changed at least. That had to say something. When she knocked on his door, she could only guess what he was thinking about. Boys were boys, and so Callie coming over like this would always infer something to them. She didn't mind it. The girl liked the attention. But her and Nate? Well, he was always after the underclassmen, anyway, so they really didn't have much of a change to get together. Not that Callie thought about that kind of thing. Well, she didn't think much more of Nate than the fact that he was hot and that he was a player, going after all the little freshman who didn't know better.
She let out a little titter of laughter. "Well if you wanted a threesome, you could've asked before, then I would've brought some of them along," she said with a smirk. Yeah, it wasn't likely that something like that would happen. Callie was more of a one-on-one girl, anyway. "Screw AA, they can kiss the fattest part of my ass," she said with a laugh, taking the bottle of beer from his hand and popping open the top with ease. She was an old pro, and it didn't even hurt anymore when she did it bare-handed. "What about you, hm? I wouldn't doubt they've called you for membership plenty of times."
