Age: Nineteen

Location: Monterey, California
`Appearance ,,
Eden is a girl who cares about her looks. The problem is that she isn't going to spend eight years in front of the mirror trying to make herself look picture perfect, and surprisingly enough, it suits her. Eden's hair is very, very dark, and under most lighting, appears black. When hit by direct sunlight, however, a few deep brown hues are detectable under further inspection. Her hair is about shoulder blade length and has just a tinge of wave to it. Eden also has bangs that fall straight past her brows and end just above lashes. The eyes that they frame are a rather dark shade of brown that have just enough autumn within their frames to be considered as hazel, depending on who is asked. The most unforgettable thing about her facial features would easily be the dimples the teen obtains by smiling.
Eden stands at 5'7''. She is thin, but by no means could claim the title anorexic. She did, however, obtain her father's calves. They are a bit larger than most girls, but don't attract much attention by anyone other than Eden. Her skin is unblemished and subtly pale. She has enough curves to show she isn't a boy, which is a rather nice asset when it comes to dancing, but she doesn't feel they're classic enough to obtain the attention of boys.
Generally the girl can be found with her hair done in a messy ponytail. It always rests closer to the top of her head, and a few of the longer strands manage to escape the elastic band. She has a thing for wearing simple outfits, such as a white t-shirt with the sleeves rolled higher than they already are, accompanied by a pair of worn jean shorts and some black combat boots. If she has those black boots on, you can be sure her nails are painted black to match. Things like makeup and nail polish are not an everyday thing for her, though. She also isn't a huge fan of jewelry, though she will would wear a piece of someone purchased it for her.

Best Feature: My best feature would easily be my belly button. I mean, belly buttons are a place of mystery. They're these holes that extend inward, most of the time, and are filled with who knows what. There are so many different kinds of belly buttons, and in the end, I'm just happy I have mine.
Worst Feature: I'm short, you know? Ok, not really. I'm a lot taller than most of the girls I know. Even still, it'd be amazing to be like... 5'10''. Do you know how many songs are written about girls with long legs? A lot, that's how many. Yeah. I wish I were tall.
`Personality ,,
Paranoid. Eden is very, very paranoid. She's quick to think that someone is only her friend for their own personal gain, or that there's some hidden agenda behind everything. If she sees someone watching her from the same place two days in a row, she'll be convinced for ages that they're stalking her. Every little bump in the night must be an earthquake, and it must have been caused by someone out to get her. Eden's paranoia has made it incredibly difficult for her to have relationships in both the romantic and friend departments.
Curious. This comes hand in hand with her paranoia, but can be perked without the other being involved. Eden is incredibly curious. She likes to know everything about everyone, and is always asking questions. She likes to explore, and sometimes even spy on people. She is brimming with questions twenty-four seven but has learned to contain herself so as not to annoy everyone around her. If you bring something up and refuse to divulge every little fact about it, she'll wear a puppy dog face until you crack. Eden must know, and probably will.
Physical. In Eden's opinion, touch is one of the best five senses. Things like back rubs and playing with someone's hair and a massage can make everything bad in the world melt away. Eden loves the way that things feel in between her fingers, and she often indulges herself by touching everything and anything she wants to. This has made her a rather physical friend. She's fond of hugging, holding hands, and being close with people. Her favorite part of the anatomy (right along with belly buttons) would be the hands.

Positive Traits:
- Not Judgmental. The first time you meet Eden, it might as well be the first time you're alive. The past is the past, and what you did back then doesn't matter to her. What's important is how you treat her, and what you do from then on. She'll trust you and your judgment until you give her a reason not to. With Eden, you get a fresh start. Be who you want to be, or you can be who you are. She doesn't care. Just don't hurt her, and you'll be ace.
- Helpful. Eden likes to keep busy, so if you need help with your homework, or your chores, or making dinner, she'll be right there by your side. It's rare that she doesn't offer a helping hand, and it's even rarer that she says no when someone asks for one. She's quick to offer advice, but she can also keep her opinions to herself if the situation calls for it. If she doesn't know how to do what you need, she'll look it up and learn. Eden enjoys being a valuable friend who knows what to do in most situations. It's something she strives for. It's way better than not knowing.
- Confident. Eden knows that she isn't the most gorgeous girl in the entire world, but she also knows that those sorts of things aren't as important as some people make them out to be. She doesn't think she's the hottest of the hot, but she is confident in herself and her abilities. She doesn't put herself down, and she rarely puts others down, too. Eden thinks she's pretty enough, and as long as she's comfortable with herself, that's all she needs. If you want to throw in a compliment or two here and there, though, she wouldn't be displeased.
Negative Traits:
- One Strike. If you give Eden a reason not to trust you, guess what? She won't trust you. She has reason enough to be suspicious of the people around her, and she won't keep that company close. She isn't unreasonable and she won't stop you from explaining, but it's rare that she will forgive. It would take a really special person to be able to jump over Eden's defenses. The best policy is to stay honest and keep your intentions out in the open. Otherwise, you probably won't be her friend for long.
- Honesty. Generally honesty is a good thing, but in Eden's case, it can go a bit overboard. If you ask her a question, such as whether or not those jeans make you look fat, you better be prepared for either answer, because she won't lie to you. Eden thinks that everyone wants to trust her as much as she wants to trust them, and lying, in her opinion, doesn't help the situation. She'll tell you exactly what she thinks about everything, if you ask. In short, if you don't want to know the answer, don't bring up the question.
- Bad Liar. This is just ridiculous. You know in those movies when someone asks the nervous girl a question and she overreacts and stutters and looks like a deer caught in the headlights because she can't answer the question but she doesn't know how to lie about it, either? Yep. That's Eden. Because of this, she isn't the best secret keeper. Unless her arm will fall off if she doesn't keeps her mouth shut, the girl cannot keep something to herself, short of running in the other direction. Which, by the way, she'll do, if it's important enough.
Greatest Ambition: Eden's greatest ambition is to become an indie film maker. Normally people want to become big stars and have their name plastered all over the paper, but Eden has never been affected by those kinds of movies. She watches indie films a majority of the time, and although most of them are overlooked because of their small budget, a lot of them have a very powerful message. Eden wants to be one of those film makers where when people hear her name, it's somewhat familiar, but they just can't place it to a movie. However, when they hear the name of the movie, they know all about it. She wants her work to represent something beautiful, and she wants it to affect people all over the world.
Greatest Fear: Eden's greatest fear is that everyone is actually out to get her. She's paranoid, yes, but somewhere deep down she knows the feeling is irrational. If everyone she meets keeps fitting the mold, though, then she'll have no choice but to accept the very thing that has been haunting her for years: humans are really terrible people. Even if she can find one person who is honest, trustworthy, and wouldn't do a thing to hurt her, Eden's fears would be squashed. Finding that one person, however, is a lot tougher than it sounds.
`History ,,
Eden was a surprise. Her parent's hadn't expected to have a baby, but one fateful morning, her mother peed on a stick, and that was history.
The little girl was born in Monterey, California. She lived off of the beach, literally, in a rather expensive house. She had a strong connection with her only sibling, Christopher, who was ten years older than the girl. Her childhood was relatively normal, although Eden was found to be a bit strange. She spent most of her time making up stories and watching movies with Christopher. When she was small, she took up dancing, and had continued well in to teenhood.
When Eden turned twelve, however, a tragedy struck her family. Chris was dead, apparently murdered, and it seemed to have been drug related. The police offered Eden counseling, which her parents forced her to attend, so that she could cope and have someone to listen to her.
Things continued to spiral downwards as Eden's depression only grew and the counseling didn't help. Her counselor was someone she felt like she could trust, but he didn't have all of the answers. Not the ones she wanted, anyway. Only five months after Chris's death, Eden disappeared. She was kidnapped. For a full month she was missing. Her picture was all over the news and people searched frantically for the twelve year old girl. Eventually, though, she was found. The rape kit came back negative and she appeared to be fine. That was when the paranoia started. Whenever the police asked who had taken her she said she didn't know. Whenever the police asked what her captor had done she said that he told her the truth.
What happened for that month she was gone is still a mystery to everyone except for Eden and the person who took her. Now, however, she's away from home, and at college. She is trying to make new friends, and build some new connections, and work through her paranoia issues. She is seemingly happy and generally has a smile on her face. Some say it's a miracle. Others say the girl is just really good at repression. You'll have to ask Eden to find out for yourself, and don't worry -- she always has the answer.

Best Memory: On Eden's first day of kindergarten, she was incredibly excited. Her mother had taken her to the mall and they had picked out the nicest looking dress for her to wear. They had tied a matching white bow in her long dark hair, and she had set off on her journey holding a pink lunch box. During the majority of the day Eden was on cloud nine. She was making friends, and people were being nice to her, and everything was going perfectly, until the last part of the day. One of the boys from first grade had come over to Eden with a daisy and asked if she would be his girlfriend. Eden blushed and shook her head. He had made her so embarrassed, and besides, she didn't even know what one of those was! Even though she was in kindergarten, it was easily the sweetest thing a boy had done and will ever do in her entire life. PS. That boy grew up to become her best friend.
Worst Memory: She was walking around the park late at night. The cold didn't affect the twelve year old girl. She was bundled up in a blanket that someone had given her, and searching for something. Before she could find it, though, someone had found her. The lost little girl had been retrieved, and everyone was crazed to know what had happened. Eden had the answers they wanted, but they were not theirs to have. They continuously asked her and asked her and asked her and pushed and pushed and pushed. The week after Eden returned to her home was the worst week in her life. There were tests and exams and news reporters and people were always asking. It was the only time in her life she could remember disliking questions.

`Writing Skill ,,
ooc| This is an introduction I wrote about a week ago, so I think that it properly conveys my skills and what you should expect from me on your site, if you choose to accept my application. (: Enjoy!
bic| This was the biggest change Dusk had made in a very long time. He had enrolled in the drug making business at an early age, due to his older brother who had the same habits. This was the first time in his entire life he didn't have a steady income or attractive girls waiting on him hand and foot. Looking back at all of it now he felt like an arrogant asshole, but he was dead set on changing all of it this very moment. It started with this apartment.
It was larger than most apartments were. The floors were made of dark marble and the walls were white with expensive black and grey paintings, giving a rather classy appearance. The windows were clean with white panes. They overlooked the horizon, offering the most pleasant of views and plenty of sunshine. There were two rather large bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen, and an ajoining living room and dining room. Dusk had already furnished the place, including the paintings, so it looked two times better than before, which was hard to manage. There was a black sofa in the living room accompanied by two white lounge chairs on either side. They were placed in the middle, across from a large widescreen HD television. In between the two was a glass coffee table with metal rims and legs.
The kitchen had matching marble countertops with metal cabinets. The fridge was oversized and also metal. There was a coffee machine, a microwave, a stainless steel black stove, a very deep sink, plenty of counter space, and a small centerpiece in the middle that held all of the colorful fruit. The fridge was stocked and there were matching plates, bowls, cups, pots, and pans within the many cabinets. The dining room had an expansive table that matched the coffee table in the living room. It was glass with silver rims and legs. The chairs were black with subtle white accents, and happened to be very comfortable.
The two bedrooms were bare, except for the very large king sized canopy beds with black satin sheets and a feather white comforter. The pillows were were a mix of black, white, and silver. Both bedrooms had large glass bookshelves next to the window, which had black curtains that were drawn back. Walk in closets accompanied both rooms, but other than that, it was subject to the decorating of its owner.
The bathroom was just as spacious as one of the bedrooms. There was a spa-like bath tub that could easily accomodate multiple people. It was white, save for the silver jets, drain, and spout. A shower came separate, and was also glass. There was one window that took up most of the wall with the silver toilet, but the curtain over it distorted the images behind, allowing light to come in, but discouraging any peepers. A mirror took up one whole wall, along with the countertop and a sink with white drawers underneath.
It was expensive, but Dusk could easily afford it. The roommate was just a shot at being normal. So was going to school. His education had been ace, but he never obtained a degree. Now he was going to be the good boy his parents and brother had always wished he was. Even though his only sibling was in the same business, he still had never expected Dusk to get involved. It had happened, though, and with a not-so-terrible result. He was straightening out, and the ring of the doorbell only solidified the whole thing.
Dusk instinctively sat up straight on the sofa, a slightly worried expression overcoming him. He'd never lived with another person before, let alone a guy, and he was nervous. Although, his new roommate had sounded pleasant over the phone, so maybe he would be lucky. Dusk reached out and grabbed for the remote, absently switching it off before standing and straightening out his white wife beater. With a hand through black locks, he headed towards the door.
Today Dusk had decided to go casual. As aforementioned, a white wife beater hugged his frame comfortably. It led to his black dickies, which were accented nicely by the silver chain that led from his front pocket to his back, hinting at the existence of a wallet. His shoes were black boots, and generally he wouldn't have them on, but he had only just gotten back from shopping for more food. He hadn't a clue what his new roommate would like, so he had pretty much just stocked up on everything.
A silver chain hung around his neck, though the plain silver cross that hung at it's edge was hidden by the shirt. A rather expensive Rolex with a black face and silver plating hung low on his right wrist. His hair was black, and kept short on the immediate sides, though down the main of his head it was longer. He kept the longer bits combed over to his left side, though, obstructing his vision only slightly. On anyone else it might have been seen as a desperate teenage attempt for some attention, but on him it looked nearly classic. His eyes were generally narrow and his eyebrows were sharp. Emerald hues that sparkled deep as the aquamarine ocean surveyed the white door before he was finally within arms length of the knob.
His shoulders rose and fell with the evidence of a sigh, before he reached out and pulled it open, his mouth slightly open in preparation to greet his new roommate. One glance down her thin form, though, and he was at a loss for words.
...A girl!?
