`Appearance ,,
at first glance, it is easy to see that neve clowes is gorgeous. her name, in fact, comes directly from her fair features. 'neve' translates to snow in italian. she was born with a dusting of bright blonde hair. she was a toe head her entire adolescence, until she began to add low lights to her long waves to accomplish a more golden color. her eyes are a soft brown, and her skin, though naturally pale, is bronzed from neve's tanorexic tendencies. as if one girl of such beauty was enough, neve has an identical twin sister, sophie. any physical differences between the girls are virtually nonexistent. they hold themselves with the same impeccable posture, and the vertical angle at which their noses parts the air before the is a direct result of their similar dna. the cloweses have always been an admittedly pompous bunch, so the same can really be said for the entire clan.
though it is in her biological makeup to remain thin, neve has had a bit of help. her previous addiction to coke has put her into the category of 'slender to an unhealthy degree' but her sister is of the same build, so they can successfully blame it on genetics. as identical twins, the sisters stand at an average five-foot-six-inches; a fact that has not helped neve in her aspirations to be a model. since she lacks the height required of runway models, neve has focused on commercial modeling.

Best Feature:
that's easy, really. my hair, obviously. it's perfect, and for good reason, since i easily spend the most time on it in the morning. its thick, long, blonde, and does anything i want it do, whether it's loose curls or stick straight. i don't even know what a bad hair day looks like.
Worst Feature:
my worst feature? well...just like any other girl, i do have my doubts about my appearance. but to single one out as my worst...hmm. i guess i would say my height, or lack thereof. its made a career in the fashion modeling business far more difficult than it would be if i were five-nine or something like that. i've always used heels in attempts to mask it, but it's always a hassle. le sigh, it's something i suppose i'll have to get used to. god, why couldn't i have had a crooked nose or something to that effect? at least i could have corrected such an issue with surgery.
`Personality ,,
PRIVILEGED. (priv-uh-lijd) adj.
not subject to the usual rules or penalties because of some special circumstance.
neve was born to a pair of wealthy socialites from manhattan's upper east side, and therefore has always enjoyed a certain degree of freedom. while neve is not a troublemaker perse, she quite honestly has never had to think about the repercussions of her actions. it is precisely this mindset that landed her and her twin sister sophie attending uni on the opposite side of the country. mommy and daddy have always been able to buy neve's way out of any entanglement or scandal, and in result no real boundaries have ever been set for the girl. but aside from what wealth and power can exempt you from, neve has led a virtually charmed life. she's always been given everything she has ever wanted, and then all the things she would have never thought to ask for. christmases were spent in paris, and summers in cancun. retail therapy is the best medicine, and when life becomes too stressful for a whiny heiress, a holiday to las vegas is just the ticket.
ADDICTED. (uh-dik-tid) adj.
devoted or given up to a practice or habit or to something psychologically or physically habit-forming.
humans have a habit of choosing precisely the things that are worst for them. nothing could be closer to the truth in the case of neve clowes. at the tender age of seventeen, neve was at a party with her sister, amid guests who were in her same social class, though a good few years older. it was here that neve met her first serious boyfriend; scott motherwell. he moved about the crowd like a god, and neve knew why. he was the resident coke dealer to manhattans finest. it seemed everyone in attendance had used his product either before or during the party, though not he himself. she was drawn to him, hypnotized by the illegality of his actions and the risk he took by selling. though she also reveled in the fact that scott motherwell was exactly the man her father would have never wanted his precious neve georgina with. and so they began dating. she was constantly at his side, where he went she followed, and in turn, neve was drawn into a very low quality circle of socialites. among her former friends whom she began to see less and less of, she was treated with the same distant respect that they regarded motherwell with. everyone knew that neve was getting into coke. scott has been dealing it to her for free of course. he loved the knowledge that he had the innocent daughter of the clowes family so firmly in his grasp. she wouldn't leave him, because if she did, her bottomless free supply would disappear. but still, already thin neve was slowly evaporating before their eyes. she had enough dignity and social regard to keep herself from turning completely vile, but she became dangerously close until she was forced to break from her darling scott motherwell and face exile in seattle.
NAIVE. (nah-eev) adj.
having or showing a lack of experience, judgment, or information; credulous.
neve has never worked a day in her life, and probably never will. she has never socialized with those in a class lower than hers. she would rather read us weekly than watch msnbc. but most importantly, neve clowes doesn't understand that not everyone in the world has silverware with their family's crest engraved on the handle. most of the world gets by without the latest chanel handbag, and don't have the funds to wreck a 40,000 dollar car and replace it the next day. neve clowes really doesn't get it. she has no grip on the real world, but it isn't her fault. no one ever taught her to be thankful; the fact that her armani gown was steam-ironed of wrinkled by her maid is simply a fact of life for her, and she doesn't understand that that isn't the way the world works for the masses.

Positive Traits:
rebellious!
quite honestly, there is little neve enjoys more than pushing her limits; or what her parents limit her too. playing hopscotch with the metaphorical 'line' between good and bad is neve's favorite sport. it is what sparked her interest in scott motherwell, among other unaccpetable things. if her parents disapprove of it, then the person or item in question is infinitely more appealing.
friendly and outgoing!
though many of her socialite friends would turn their nose up at anyone below their class, neve is just not that way. she may be a spoiled, but she's still one of the most happy, friendly people you could hope to meet. this is probably a result of her naivety, because i wouldn't exactly call neve 'nice'. she has a very nasty streak in her, but it is only expressed when neve has been wronged in some way. or if someone were to harm her brother or sister. which brings us to her next trait;
loyal!
family is everything to neve. they're the only people, she's learned, that will never abandon you because of a scandal. they'll never judge you off a rumor, and they'll never do anything that could hurt you physically, or socially. they are virtually the only people you can trust, and neve knows this very well. it is why her sister is her best friend, and she'd protect her brother with her life. you couldn't torture one of their secrets out of her, and god forbid you threaten either one of them; you'd be eating siletto heel before you could blink twice. its the only time you will see the vicious side of neve clowes...and lets just say it's a good thing that part of her is dormant regularly.
Negative Traits:
vain,
is it really neve's fault that she likes the look of her own reflection? of course not. anyone with a face like hers wouldn't be. but still, neve clowes is incapable of walking past a mirror without a moment's hesitation, followed by a glance and a satisfied smile. and not just mirros, but windows and bodies of water. anything with reflective qualities, really.
tease.
neve was raised a proper lady, sort of, so she knows the value of her own purity. she doesn't sleep around like most girls these days, though she isn't a virgin. scott motherwell was her first and only. however, she does have the reputation in manhattan as a terrible tease. neve is all things suggestive and seductive. she'll kiss with no reserve and even let things progress dangerously close, but neve rarely gives it all up.
weepy.
neve is generally a nice person. it is a direct result of her sensitive nature, and with that comes a tendancy to let the tears flow. it doesn't take much to set her off, and while her tears are nearly silent, they are very wet.
Greatest Ambition:
to become an international supermodel...perhaps even for playboy, just to give her parents a heart attack.
Greatest Fear:
that she should lose her sister; there's hardly a world big enough for neve without sophie, but there's no world at all without her.
`History ,,
on february the fourteenth, valentines day of 1989, neve georgina clowes followed her elder by a few minutes sister sophie into the world. the name neve was awarded to her for her fairness in physical appearance, and georgina was one of those hideous family names that numerous clowes girls had suffered with for decades. they were born to daphne and simon clowes a young couple, up and coming in the seattle metropolitan area. they had a nice house in an expensive seattle residential area, and simon clowes owned a very successful chain of restaurants that spanned the entire west coast featuring italian quisine he named la neve sophia for his daughters. conveniently neve means 'snow' in italian. not long after, a year, actually, daphne and simon welcomed their third and final child into the world. a son, named ethan. neve took quickly to her new little brother, for finally someone was younger than she. neve became very protective of ethan, on the playground and eventually in school.
when the twins were five, and ethan about to turn four, simon clowes' growing enterprise was now too large for the west coast only, and daphne was beginning to miss her native new york. so without much second thought, the cloweses packed up their children and moved into a bank-breaking manhattan penthouse, where they inhabited the entire top floor. neve and sophie took their first steps into claremont preparatory school with matching chanel backpacks and identical clowes posture. they greatly enjoyed primary school, making friends with other students who enjoyed the best life had to offer monetarily, and took a comfortable place at the top of manhattan's elite. by the time they got to highschool, sophie was a nationally ranked ballet dancer who had starred in many professional and ameature performances, and had an adoring boyfriend, the likes of whom her parents could not have picked better than. and neve had done a few fashion spreads for chanel and gucci.
when neve and sophie were fifteen, neve began to notice a change in her sister. they were both extremely thin, but slowly sophie was becoming even more so. it made neve jealous, and she knew her sister had begun to do what so many of her ballet colleagues were doing; purging. she personally didn't think it mattered what sophie did, for she seemed healthy. the girls weren't the types to interfere in each others lives, but rather be supportive of each others decisions. so neve helped her sister hide it, and covered for her. in fact, neve herself ate only sparingly. as a model, she couldn't afford an ounce of body fat. so she mostly worked out. neve could run for hours and she did at least one hundred sit ups a night. while her sister was all skin and bones, neve had a nice toned appearance to her body.
senior year at claremont was neve's favorite of all. there were parties every weekend at this hotel or that private pool. the drinks flowed freely and drugs were there if you asked for them. it wasn't long at all before neve clowes met scott motherwell, resident socialite coke dealer. she was hypnotized by his influence over her fellow elite, and he was twenty-one. she was seventeen. they began dating, and their relationship was made extremely public. the cloweses threatened their daughter with everything, but they couldn't break the couple up. they were caught in a terrible dilema; they knew their precious neve was doing coke, but they had done the same thing when they were young. well, daphne had anyways. she was born into the lifestyle of the manhattans upper east side. so eventually, the cloweses turned the other cheek. that is, until just before neve's sophomore year of college at nyu.
simon and daphne had been a bit distraught when their daughter turned down a scholarship to brown so she could attend school in new york, and ultimately not have to leave her precious scott. one night, she was the party of a friend on the arm of motherwell, when her boyfriend noticed the face of a socialite boy who owed him a substancial bit of money. scott confronted him, and the boy refused to pay scott. scott pulled out a gun and shot the kid's head clean off, before ushering his frantic girlfriend out of the party. neve knew that no one would tell the police what happened, for scott motherwell, while a dealer, was a socialite himself. and the boy he murdered was not. the elite protected their own, but neve was still in worried tears. she was petrified that the love of her life would be taken from her. and her fears were definitely justified.
it didn't take long for the news to reach her parents ears. and while scott was a suspect, nothing could be proven against him. neve argued that she ought to stay and stand by her boyfriend, but simon and daphne saw this as a prime opportunity to separate their daughter fron her bad influence boyfriend. they enrolled neve in washington university of arts, back in her native seattle. sophie begged to go with her sister, and the cloweses agreed that it would be suspicious if only one of their daughters were sent away.
so now, neve and sophie clowes have been exiled to washington, their former home town that they could barely remember, and hadn't missed at all.

Best Memory:
it was the morning of neve and sophie's sixteenth birthday. each of the girls could hardly get to sleep the night before, and neve had woken up as soon as the sun's bright light had pierced through the canopy of her california king sized bed. she pulled on a fluffy leopard print robe, and slipped her feet into a pair of uggs slippers before tiptoeing down the hall to her sister's bedroom. she got a running start, and jumped though the air until she landed with a soft thump next to the sleeping beauty, and gently joslted her sister awake. sophie stretched and the girls squealed. their parents had planned a huge birthday which would take place at their gigantic penthouse, and sophie and neve were going to spend the day shopping for new outifts to wear at said party.
neve left her sister's room to change into a pair of destroyed jeans and ballet flats, and she pulled a brown university sweatshirt over her tight fitting plain white tee, and ran a brush through her golden waves. she applied only a bit of clear lipgloss and brown mascara, and spritzed on a dab of chanel perfume. she threw her makeup and wallet into her coach purse, and fit oversized fendi sunglasses over most of her face.
the twins stepped out of their bedrooms at the exact same moment, and linked arms before taking the elevator to the ground floor. once they stepped outside, they indeed saw their limo and driver sigfried waiting for them. but parked right infront of the limo was a silver lexus convertible and a black on black bmw, both wrapped with big red bows.
Worst Memory:
neve stared blankly out of the window of her charter jet. only the day before, her parents had alerted her that she would be transfering from her beloved nyu in greenwich village, to some desolate art school in the puny seattle. she had lived in the city until she was five years old, but since moving to manhattan, she had not spared the place a moments though or shed a tear for missing it. and now, couldn't shed a tear for leaving new york. she had spent the last twenty-four hours weeping in her bedroom as she directed the maids in packing her pink gucci luggage which had been a gift from the company after she did a successful ad for them.
now, neve sat clutching her sister's hand and glaring at her parents out one of the jet's tiny windows. daphne hated seattle almost as much as neve hated going there; how could her mother sentence her to such a fate?
neve knew exactly how. her mother hated seeing her with scott, and her parents would do anything to separate them. including exiling their daughter across the country. the only good thing that had come of this was that sophie was allowed to accompany her. she hadn't even been allowed to say goodbye to scott, though she managed to send him a text saying that she was leaving. neve heaved a dry sob and laid a her head on sophie's shoulder as the plane took lift off.

`Writing Skill ,,
mik was tipsy, to say the least.
his swagger was somewhat affected by his blood alcohol level, but he managed to put one foot in front of the other and retain a few shreds of his dignity. a bottle of rum hung limply in his left hand, and his silk shirt was unbuttoned slightly. somehow, he had become separated from alexander, and had left the bar without a lady. if he wasn't so tossed, he might be a tad embarrassed. but instead he threw back the bottle and emptied its contents before ditching it in a bush along the path he took, smiling as he heard the sound of glass shattering against stone.
all he needed was a pretty little thing to spice up his night. you know, something simple, one that wouldn't put up a fight. preferably as far gone as he, and maybe even without a brother bent on defending her honor. after scanning the seemingly deserted park, however, mik rather thought he was out of luck. maybe he'd stop by delta zeta and pick up a willing freshman. really, mik loved being out of hogwarts; it eliminated the temptation of jail bait.
the pole was always an option. it wasn't a whore house perse, though not many of the dancers would turn you down if you offered the right price. he'd heard one of the girls from sigma omega had begun her career there, and he was quite tempted to test the new goods. you know, before she was too terribly tainted? stopping in his tracks, mik flipped around and set off in the opposite direction, toward the lights of arindale valley.
