Prude. Childish. Honest.
Name: Edan James Parks
Nickname(s): Edan, Jay, Parks.
Major: Film.
Age: Eighteen
Grade: Freshmen
Birthdate: June 20th, 1991
Orientation: Straight - heterosexual.
Location: Sydney, Australia.
`Appearance ,,
Edan Parks is, in all reality, a very handsome man. Whether he believes it or not, he's got the boy-ish good looks of a much younger teenager than he is, but simultaneously has the rugged handsomeness of a man who's gone through a lot.
His dark brown hair is always relatively close-cut, and occasionally, when he doesn't have the time, he even has an equally dark brown beard type thing... Well, to be frank, he has no idea what exactly it's called.
His eyes rarely stay one color. They're both blue and brown sometimes, depending on the day of the week, and what angle at which someone's looking at them. They're his favorite feature on himself, and he can occasionally be a bit vain about them.
He's built rather long and lanky, and his exercise of choice is running, so his most developed muscles are those in his legs, but he also spends a lot of time on his stomach since that is his trouble spot, due to his sweet tooth.
As for style, he has none. He really wears whatever's closest; be it a cardigan or a plain black t-shirt. All he really cares about is covering himself; he could actually usually a stylist, come to think of it.

Best Feature: His eyes. He likes it best when they're blue, and his black eyelashes make them stand out. Admittedly, they're his most effeminate feature, but they're his favorite.
Worst Feature: His nose; it was broken when he was in eighth grade and got into a fight over a girl. It's looked flat, in his opinion, ever since.
`Personality ,,
Prude
Although prude isn't a word that Edan would use to describe himself, it would probably still be a pretty accurate description. He belongs to a very small group of human beings left who believes that love is love, and there's nothing else for it. If he's with a girl, he's with her because he thinks she is the one. Admittedly, he's ran into several "the ones" (like, say, that girl who got his nose broken) but he was incredibly devoted to every single one. He's even still a virgin, actually, and has only kissed a few times - but then again, he does like to look.
Childish
Another word that Edan wouldn't use to describe himself he is, however, definitely very childish. He loves most things kids grow out of, like anything with sugar in it, playing games and the like. One of his favorite things to do is turn on the Nickolodeon or Disney channel as he does his homework... Luckily, however, he does know how to be serious. But this personality trait also makes him perhaps a little ridiculously naive.
Honest
Edan is honest almost to a fault. No matter what, he always tells the truth - even when it hurts people. As you might have guessed, this has gotten him in trouble quite a few times before. In fact, this is why he's studying film - not acting!

Positive Traits:
-Genuine. Edan Parks is one of the most genuine people you're ever going to meet. He is practically incapable of fooling or manipulating anyone.
-Tough Skinned. It's unusually hard to offend Edan; he usually just brushes it off, and forgives the offender.
-Idealistic. He's very optimistic, and idealistic. He tends to think that no one can do anything wrong until proven guilty; and therefore gets himself hurt pretty easily.
Negative Traits:
-Prude. Edan is still a virgin, and has kissed only two girls in his twenty years. This, perhaps, in some people's eyes isn't a negative trait, but his naivety certainly makes him a bit more vulnerable.
-Childish. Due to having lots of little kids around him always, and growing up with 'Barney' on the television far into highschool, Edan is still a bit childish. He loves little kids shows and kids in general, and often sinks into his goo-goo voice.
-Honest. Perhaps this could be a good trait, but really, Edan is too honest for his own good. He's never lied in his life - about anything, and that includes just omitting the truth
Greatest Ambition: To be just as secure and have just as large a family, one day, as his father.
Greatest Fear: To never, ever find "the one" as cliche as it may sound.
`History ,,
Edan James Parks was born June 20th, 1991 and - much to the disappointment of his parents - was, unfortunately, not a girl.
Hence the somewhat effeminate name, Edan. As it turns out, Edan's gender was either a fluke or the Gods were listening because Edan's parents, Holly and Jason, had seven other daughters after Edan; Evangeline Katherine Parks, who is seventeen, Lily Rose Parks, who is sixteen, Charlotte Alice Parks, who is fourteen, Bella Elizabeth Parks, who is twelve, Dorian Scarlett Parks who is ten, Audrey Sheindel Parks, who is six and Juliet Glory Parks, who is only three.
To support a family that large, it's a good thing that Jason is actually a starting linebacker for the New York Giants, and makes plenty of money per game, and Holly owns - and, before Charlotte's birth, ran a high fashion line for women in maternity.
Edan was born in Sydney, Australia where the family lives, but was the only one of the eight Parks children who was. Evangeline, Lily, Charlotte Dorian, Juliet, Audrey, and Bella were all born in various other locales; New York, New York, London, England, Milan, Italy and the like; Holly, a idealistic woman, gave birth in each spot purely so that the children could say they were born somewhere "fabulous".
Edan, therefore, has been to school in a variety of places; because not only does Holly like to give birth in exotic places, she likes to travel, too. As a result, Edan was very, very good at switching schools.
Washington University of Arts was the first and only college Edan applied to; he was unsurprised when he was accepted, but was surprised, however, when Holly told him that, along with his coursework, he'd have to write at least nine letters a month - one for each of his family members.

Best Memory: "Going to Venice! I've been over the entire world, really - does that sound pompous? But it's true! Anyway, Venice was my favorite. It was so pretty, and I loved the water; you know, you always hear all those stories about the water actually being disgusting and dirty and such but it all really was just beautiful. Luckily, I was fifteen at the time - we went there when Juliet, my youngest sister, was born, so I could appreciate it."
Worst Memory: "Getting held at gunpoint in New York. Isn't that horrible? It might not be my worst memory, but it's the first one that comes to mind and it was really horrible. It was right after Bella was born, so my father and Evangeline and Lily and Charlotte and I were going back to our hotel in the middle of the night. Bella was kind of premature so they were keeping her and mum overnight, but Dad couldn't really stay in a hospital with a newborn, a wife, himself, an six, five, four, and two year old overnight, could he? So we were standing out in the cold - Bella was born December 3rd - and this guy comes up to us with a gun, of all things, on our family! It probably wasn't too horrible, as muggings go, but I was terrified."

`Writing Skill ,,
Mavis groaned, running her hands through her hair nervously, making the already crazy knot of curly, dark hair even crazier.
Actually, speaking of crazy things, this was crazy. It hadn't seemed too out of the question when the teacher suggested it; find four scripts that you've never heard of before, with a character you'd like to play in it, then write a five paragraph essay for each script about why you want to play that character.
Well, okay, it did sound crazy - but she did have a month to do it in. How hard could it be?
But no, of course not. Here she was, a week before it was due, looking at an aisle or two of scripts in the library that had already been rampaged by the other students in her class and now only consisted of such classics as "The Wizard of Oz", "Arsenic and Old Lace", "The Lion King" and such. Of course, there were still a few lesser-known scripts left; things like, "Mulan", or "Off the Map", but, being the hard-to-satisfy student of drama that she was, she knew nearly all of them already. The few that she didn't know looked a little bit dodgy and badly written, but those would have to do. No matter how long she stood here and looked at this shelf, she still would know the story of Mulan by heart.
Picking up a good dozen titles, and heaping them haphazardly into her arms, she headed briskly for an empty table - before the stack started swaying. Frantically - she did not want to pick all these shit-head titles up again - she dropped them onto the nearest table, where they splayed out like playing cards. A girl sat there already, looking her age, maybe a little older, head buried in her book. Mavis blushed the shade of her tomato red eye-shadow, (which was oh-so-artistically mixed with gold mascara and plum eye-liner), and smiled awkwardly, even though the girl wasn't looking at her.
"Erm... Mind if I sit here? I'll keep real quiet, if you'd rather." She shot the girl another shit-eating grin. And, hoping to claim the spot as her own - the library had grown awfully crowded in the time she'd spent staring down "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" - and pulled off her coat, draping it over the chair across from the girl. "I just really need somewhere to sit and absolutely have to get this work done." And with that, she sat unceremoniously down, laid her purse in her lap, and began digging for the paper and pen she just knew she'd put in there when she left her dorm this morning. "I'm Mavis, by the way," she added, coming up with only a note-pad and a hot pink gel pen. Realizing that that would have to do - and that she wasn't keeping her promise of 'keeping real quiet', she closed her mouth and opened up a slightly yellow-stained script entitled "Reunion."
