awkward loyal witty.
Name: Andrew Barret
Nickname(s): Drew or Barrett
Major: Visual art – photography
Age: Twenty-one
Grade: Junior
Birthdate: January 21st
Orientation: Heterosexual
Location: Cottage Grove, Minnesota
`Appearance ,,
The thing people usually notice about Andrew is… wait, scratch that. People don’t actually notice him. He’s not a guy who stands out, but more the kind of person who blends in. With his 5’9 ft. he’s pretty average in height, and he is neither overweight nor skinny. He jogs almost every single morning to keep in shape, and it has given him a rather well-trained body, but nowhere near a bodybuilder’s body. His legs are strong though and toned. His upper body is nowhere near as trained as his legs, but he does not have manboobs! Lately he has been loosing some weight because he lives off cup noodles and sometimes just can’t afford food at all.
His face is long and thin and he has high cheekbones. Andrew has a somehow long nose that fits his face nicely and which is a bit broader on the middle, because he broke it when he was playing baseball in his freshmen year of high school. His eyes are brown and his hair is curly and dark. It is a bit longer on the top than in the sites and his bangs are also short. Finally when he smiles he gets dimples, especially when he smiles wryly or awkwardly.
Andrew doesn’t care much about what he is wearing and most of the time he will just put on whatever looks or smells cleaner. Usually it’s a t-shirt, a pair of jeans and sneakers – pretty much like any average 20-something-year-old. I hate to use the word ‘normal’, but it is actually the best way to describe Andrew. At least that’s what he thinks of himself. He doesn’t consider himself hot, cute or ugly. Just plain normal.

Best Feature: “Probably… I don’t know… Hmm, I guess I have nice legs since I jog almost every morning…”
Worst Feature: “Everything else than my legs very much? I guess my hair is pretty messy. I have a small forehead.”[/size]
`Personality ,,
Awkward
The best word to describe Andrew is probably awkward. At least when he’s around people who he doesn’t know very well or people, who makes him uncomfortable, such as the more popular crowds. Definitely not a people’s person, he always manage to put himself in awkward situations, when he becomes insecure, which happens quite often. Once he’s around people who he considers ‘above him’, which is basically everyone, it’s like his brain stops working and he’ll say the weirdest stuff or do something random to try and get himself out of whatever situation he is in. The way he stutters, the way he can never look anyone in the eye may not make him ideal boyfriend material, but more of a friend, which is perfectly fine with him. Drew’s completely inept as far as girls goes; even though he can make friends with girls if he wants to, he always freezes up when it comes to telling a girl that he likes her. Girls have given up on him, so he’s given up on girls.
Loyal
He’s a loyal friend. Once someone’s befriended Drew, he or she has a friend for life. He’d never leave a friend alone when they needed help, and he’s an excellent listener. Surprisingly, he’s good at offering advice as well. Andrew gives everything he does all his heart, and doesn’t do much of anything half-assed. If someone’s having problems, he isn’t afraid to listen to that someone, maybe interrupting with a helpful word every now and then. He’s someone that can be trusted—he wouldn’t go around telling someone’s secrets. He likes the feeling of being trusted, and wouldn’t want to do anything to lose it. His friends are the most important part of his life, since he has so few of them, and he’d do anything for them. It’s so hard for him to make new friends, so he tries to keep the ones that he does have. Andrew doesn’t necessarily mind being alone, but there are just some times where you need friends.
Witty
Ironically, Andrew’s best qualities only come out when he’s around people. When he does decide to speak up, he’s quite witty, in a calm type of way. He is a fan of sarcasm and he’s got a wry sense of humor when he wants to show it. He’d never insult someone for any reason, even an enemy. He can always find something nice to say about anyone. The typical best friend figure, he’s always there for his friends without a complaint. He’s polite to anyone and everyone, no matter what they say to him. Enough to make any parent proud, right? There’s just one problem with his politeness. He absolutely refuses to stand up for himself. People can walk all over him like a doormat and he won’t care at all.

Positive Traits:
Open-minded
Andrew has never judged anyone, not even after getting to know them. He is very open-minded towards other people and their way of living life. While he might not always agree with everyone or like whatever some people do, he is not going to try and change them or tell them what they’re doing is wrong.
Laid-back
He’s not the kind of guy who gets all worked up about tiny details and small misunderstandings. The only time he really worries about details is after speaking to Ella Torres. Then he can spent hours on analyzing every single word she has said to him.
Best intentions
Andrew would never hurt someone on purpose. Not even his enemies. While things do not always turn out the way he wants them to, he always have the best intentions.
Negative Traits:
Curious
Whether curiosity is a negative or positive trait can be discussed, but in this case I’m going to list it as negative, since all Andrew’s curiosity seems to cause is trouble. He simply can’t let something go if it has caught his attention, which usually gets him into some kind of situation which he cannot handle well.
Unorganized
Andrew is the kind of guy who never knows where he left his papers or if the clothes he is wearing is actually clean. His socks are never the same colour and his room is a mess just like his notes from classes and well, everything else in his life.
Indecisive
Even though Drew would like to be independent, he has always secretly wishes that other people could make his decisions for him. He can spent hours on thinking about doing something or discussing something with his friends and it seems as if he can never really make up his mind whether to do one thing or another.
Greatest Ambition:
First of all, Drew wants to finish his education and lose his virginity. Secondly, he would like to be a photographer and still be able to make a living, find someone to love, who will also love him back and then probably get some kids. But he tends to change his plans a lot.
Greatest Fears:
Except dying alone, war, hunger and everything else that most people fear, Andrew is afraid of:
+Losing his friends
+Telling Ella Torres how he feels about her
+Public speaking

`History ,,
Andrew Barret was born on January 21stin Cottage Grove, Minnesota to Eric and Arianna Barret. His father is a High School teacher and his mother is a nurse, so he is from a middle class family. Three girls were born before him; Allison (the smart and boring one, 28), Beth (the blonde, 25) and Edith (the rebel, 23), and they didn’t always make his life easy. They would dress him up as a girl and actually treat him like their doll. It wasn’t until he started in kindergarten that he got to play with other boys and it wasn’t easy for him to adjust to the more rough way of playing. He was less tough and also smaller than the other boys and his parents decided to put him in school a year later than he was supposed to, because of it.
His years in elementary school were pretty uneventful. He was a smart kid, did his homework and rarely got into serious trouble. He made enemies, had crushes and good friends, who he still keeps in touch with. His parents cared for him a lot, but he was an easy child compared to his older sisters and was therefore often overlooked, because the girls demanded a lot of their parents’ attention.
Life continued that way in High School. He kept his circle of friends small, but close and other people… well, other people basically didn’t know that he even existed. His grades were good enough to get him a couple of scholarships and he was really happy when he got accepted into Washington University of arts. Edith, his older sister, also studied music there, but she dropped out when she got pregnant. Andrew’s major is Visual Art. He absolutely loves photographing and almost never leaves his home without one of his many cameras. The first two years in Washington he lived on campus, but he has recently moved into an apartment. He works as a bartender in his spare time to be able to pay for school and his apartment, but he sleeps on an air mattress and eats nothing but cup-noodles, oatmeal and water, because he can’t afford anything else. Sometimes other students pay him to take photos of them to their portfolios, resumes or whatever they need photos for.

Best Memory: Andrew is close with his family and especially his youngest older sister, Edith. He has several good memories from his childhood, especially during holidays when everyone in his family got together. But his best memory is probably last year when his sister gave birth to his first nephew, Lucas three years ago. Andrew is very close to his nephew and whenever Edith has been fighting with her husband (who she married when she was 18, because she got pregnant.), Lucas and she always stays at his apartment.
Worst Memory:
His worst memory is probably the first time he had a big crush on a girl. He was only 10 and she was basically the most gorgeous girl in the universe (According to Andrew). He gave her flowers and such. In the beginning she told him that she liked him too, but it turned out that she was just making fun of him and laughing at him behind his back. Which he found out in the middle of the playground surrounded by his class mates, who laughed at him and afterwards teased him for months. He never quite got over it and haven't been happy about making a move towards a girl ever since.

`Writing Skill ,,
They were making their own training program for PE this year. A project which would decide their final grade for the class, and Alexia was pretty determined to get an A. Nothing less would be good enough. She had included her dancing lessons and her swim training in the program plus she had added extra jogging in her free time and also during the PE-classes just to impress her teacher. While some of the other students were playing soccer, cycling or something third as a part of their project, Alexia was currently jogging. Her white top and minimal shorts danced merrily around her with each impact. Her steps became more ferocious and determined with every stabbing sensation in her lower abdominal. She was punishing herself. She pushed on for her seventh lap around the pitch. Her breathing rasped like a freight train in each of her ears and her arms felt like lead but still she pushed on. The white shade of her top tried it's best to hide the sweat marks but it couldn't. At any moment she could speed up trying to leave a thought behind her, usually it worked too but this particular time it didn't.
'You know he might assume that you're a slut.' A voice in her head growled and she began to slow down. If she kept going she was sure to have a heart attack. The voice in her head smiled knowing it had won -yes, even the voice in her head had a terrible ego. She put her hands, laced together, on her head to try and free up any lungs that possibly weren't doing their job. Her dark hair was pulled back without much thought today so it was relatively messy. She stretched her arm across her body and closed her eyes.
’It was a one time thing, and it will never happen again’ Alexia opened her eyes to scorn at her surroundings. She was facing away from the school. A subtle breeze kicked up catching selected strands o hair. She could feel her heart still beating erratically as if someone was shoving her inside her chest cavity every second. She stretched her legs.
The truth as to why Alexia was killing herself with exercise was quite simple, because of a boy – it was not only because she wanted a good grade. She'd kissed Suliemann Hafise and then run away. It wasn’t that she’d kissed a guy or that she’d run away that bothered her. It was because it was him she had kissed. Until now she had been able to fight her feeling for him, but that one day she had lost control and done something completely out of character. She kicked at the dirt on the on the running track as she finally finished stretching and exhaled heavily returning to her regular breathing. She put her hands on her hips and looked up at the sky. It was still early, well in the afternoon anyway. She brought her gaze back to eye level and began to walk over to the edge of the soccer field where she had left her water bottle. She wiped the sweat off her face with the back of her hand and took a pull of the bottle. Maybe she was making too big a deal about it. He probably wouldn’t tell anyone. Hopefully he wouldn’t. She bent down to grab her towel she'd brought down with her then patted herself over the same area she just swept with her hand. She would take a ten minutes break, before she would run another 7 laps.
