`Noah Henry Flynn !!!
level-headed. laid-back. lovesick.
Name: Noah Henry Flynn
Nickname(s): n/a
Major: Journalism
Age: 21
Grade: Senior
Birthdate: October 17th, 1987
Orientation: Heterosexual
Location: Seattle, Washiongton
`Appearance ,,
:: Head ::
The hair is a mousy brown and neatly trimmed. It is very agreeable and will lend itself well to any sort of endeavor Noah might decide to take with it. For those formal events, he'll run a comb through it, but otherwise, it is just touch-and-go. His face is very friendly, especially when he smiles. He has trouble with the "tall, dark, and mysterious" thing, so he just opts to go for cheery. He has a bit of facial hair that comes and goes, depending on the mood. When he sports the beard, it makes him look old, so Noah tends to avoid it, but once in a while, he'll keep a bit of a stubble.
:: Body ::
Noah is rather tall, standing at a 6'2". He has an amazing body with rock-hard abs. No doubt about it, the boy is toned and sculpted. His muscular build does not come without effort, however. Without the regular workouts, those muscles would just deteriorate. His body is model-worthy, but he isn't really interested in being in front of the camera.
:: Style ::
The boy keeps himself well-dressed, but not to a great extent. He knows that leaving his room in a potato sack is not acceptable, but that doesn't go through the trouble to keep himself really ahead of the trends. Noah prefers sharp fashions over the casual, but it's not like you'll never see him in sweatpants. He doesn't like to spend too much money on clothes, so sometimes, he'll show up in something that's all but fallen apart.

Best Feature: "Gotta say I love my smile. It's friendly, but not overly so, and it makes me look approachable."
Worst Feature: "That hair. On my face. I really wanted to be able to have a kind of polished musician sort of look, but it just makes me look ten years older. Ugh."
`Personality ,,
:: Level-headed ::
Noah is the down-to-earth one. He is the one that drives you home after you've managed to drink yourself into a complete stupor. He's the one that forces you to study for your finals even though you'd rather be partying. The boy's the one to keep the universe in order, because otherwise everything will just degrade into chaos. He doesn't mind the role, as it's never stopped him from having fun either. Though he's "the responsible one," he isn't a prude. In fact, he'll generally be the one to suggest everyone take a break. His motto is "everything in moderation."
:: Laid-back ::
Noah is incredibly easy-going. He'll forgive just about anyone for just about anything. He doesn't have enough energy to get truly angry at anyone much less actually hold a grudge. It's so much easier to just let everything roll down his back. It makes him a good grief counselor. The only problem with this would be that he seems insufferable. No one likes a friend who can't even get properly pissed off at you once in a while. It's even worse when you get mad at him. He stands there like with an "I know you don't really mean it," look on his face. God. What a jerk.
:: Love-sick ::
When he falls for a girl, the boy falls hard. He honestly toes the line between admirer and stalker in some occasions. He's not particularly flirtatious, which makes it much harder on him. Noah will spend an obscene amount of time sitting in his dark artist's corner writing slightly fanatical poetry. Somehow, this practice will help him work up enough confidence to work actually approach the girl. Then, there will be a game in which he repeatedly approaches the girl and then chickens out. Eventually, he'll just grow out of the whole thing. Honestly, Noah has never actually gotten around to asking a girl out for real. The boy has relied on his friends to set him up for all these years.

Positive Traits:
+ Noah is a wonderful listener. He doesn't just stare and nod and rephrase the last thing you said. He actually, well, listens. He can stay up all night have a deep and meaningful conversation.
+ Noah thinks things through before acting. Not only does it keep everyone out of trouble, but it means he can prepare for the inevitable issues that'll arise with every plan.
+ He wouldn't hesitate to give up his seat on the bus for someone who needed it more. He very much believes in karma and is always up for a good deed.
Negative Traits: (list and explain at least three)
- He tends to be a bit of a control-freak. It's his nature to save the situation, so Noah has issues letting go or forgiving himself for not foreseeing everything.
- Noah waits around for people who are quite obviously never going to return. He is unerringly hopeful and believes in the best of everyone. He doesn't even realize when he's been used.
- The boy doesn't express himself very well. He just stuffs everything in some corner of his brain and offers you a chipper little smile. That cannot be healthy.
Greatest Ambition: So, obviously, Noah wants to go into journalism, a either start a magazine or become a radio correspondent. He also wants to travel the world and learn to speak at least two more languages fluently. On the personal side, he wants to get married, but he's not quite sure if he can see himself with a family.
Greatest Fear: Well, he isn't really sure. The most obvious thing would be to be left alone. That would just be really difficult to handle for the boy, but that stems from something else. Somewhere, deep in his subconscious, he is really just worried that he's going to lose himself when he leaves college.
`History ,,
Noah was brought into this world by a sixty-year-old woman named Ka with the help of her seven-year-old grandson Phillip. She had just happened to be dropping by the Flynn residence to pick up little Phil from piano lessons when she found Miranda Flynn gasping and scream from labor pains. Apparently, Ka had been a licensed doula (a midwife of sorts), back in the day, so she took it upon herself to take command of the operation. The birth went as smoothly as possibly considering the circumstances. Miranda and Patrick had a heathy baby boy, and little Phil only ended up partially scarred for life.
Noah was a pretty good baby. He cried, but it was limited to the daylight hours, so at least his parents didn't have to lose any sleep over him. His preschool days were mostly spent napping and coloring. The most exciting event of those years would probably be the time a fellow classmate stuck a crayon up his nose. Noah vaguely remembers volunteering to pull it out for him. Such a good kid, even at a young age.
The idyllic little life didn't last long, though. When Noah was nine, his brother Micah, then seventeen, moved out. He was too young to understand it, of course, but Micah had been getting into all sorts of trouble, and when the neighbors caught him in their bed with their sweet daughter, it was simply the end of it. There were no visits, no phone calls, not even an email. He was just cut out of their lives. At the time, Noah didn't know what was really going on, but later, he began to understand what happened. He was respectful and never tried to contact his long-lost brother, but was never quite the same.
High school wasn't too horrible for Noah. He was smart and a good kid, so the teachers liked him. He had enough friends to be considered "popular," though the connections were in most part superficial. Sometimes, he fell for a girl, but those things never got anywhere. It wasn't until college that he actually started dating. Those turned up dry, too, but he managed to remain friends with a few. There were flings, of course, and even a one-night stand or two. Noah didn't have the best of luck with love, but that was okay. As long as he had good friends and a future, he was happy.

Best Memory: "I'm gonna have to be cliché and go with my high school graduation. I graduated cum laude, but that wasn't the highlight of that day. My brother showed up for the ceremony. I hadn't expected him to, but I was really glad he did. We didn't talk much, but him being there was all really counted."
Worst Memory: "There was this girl. Her brother was my friend or something. Anyways, we went out a few times, but it was just more like hanging out. So, I told her we would be better off as friends. She just nodded and said that she agreed. I thought that would be the end of everything, but the next day, I found her crying in the corner of some classroom after school. I was completely confused, but I couldn't help but feel guilty about it."
