Degree: Art
Major: Film
Minor: Visual Art
Age: Twenty
Grade: Senior
Birthdate: November 8th
Orientation: Heterosexual
Location: New York, New York
`Appearance !
Amanda has always been the recipient of a wide spectrum of short jokes. As a child she was always so much smaller than most, and as a result, was the victim of constant head patting. She did not know why it seemed that everyone taller than her felt the need to delicately pat the top of her head everytime she went near them. It wasn't like she was traumatized because of the experience, but it was a feature of her physical size that she has always wished to change. Standing at around 5'5", the young woman has pretty much grown to her full adult height, proportionally weighing in at about 125 lbs. She commonly refers to herself as "Pure Muscle, Babyyy.", in a humorous attempt at mocking her thin frame.
A little on the small side, her petite body shape is lean, and generally healthy. Despite her constant intake of calorie-rich foods and disgustingly unhealthy snacks, the young woman seems to have an acceptable balance in her excercise and strong metabolism. Her family members have always teased her about being 'lucky' to be able to eat so much without it all going to her hips. There is no doubt about it, the girl loves food.
Living in Colorado until she was 5, and then New York for the rest of her life before Seattle, the sun has never particularly befriended Mandy's skin. Her tone is rather pale, and not completely incapable of tanning, just naturally light in color. Speaking of skin, her smooth complexion is actually very complimentary to her face, a quality she had struggled to obtain back in her teen years, like the majority of other acne-plagued kids. As for her facial structure, her jawline is thin, but rather sharp, and her nose is a bit pointed. The natural color of her hair is a mixture of light honey blondes, and usually highlighted to add a little shine.
In her younger years, Mandy had been a little bit boyish, but grew out of it by the end of her first year in high school. It seems that now, as a maturing young woman, you could really deem her a classic beauty. With a pleasant face, and an appealing physique, it's no wonder she gets plenty of attention from her male friends. This doesn't mean she is a striking glamour queen, so she tends to wear clothing that suits her mood or the situation. Comfortable, yet stylish choices seem to occupy the majority of her closet, while there happen to be a few fancier selections, along with her drawers full of her favorite comfy sweats and t-shirts.

Best Feature: "Mom always said I'd thank her for forcing me to get braces, and boy do I know what she means. I'm pretty damn proud of my teeth. It took a while to get them nice and straight, but now they look amazing. Beware of my perfect pearly whites, they just might make you jealous."
Worst Feature: "I wish I could be a tall amazon beauty instead of an armrest. Sometimes being short has it's advantages, but man... people aren't funny when they repeat short jokes to you for about 15 years."
`Personality !
WITTY: Amanda is one of those people who can think of an intelligent response right on the spot. She hardly ever has those moments where she is in a heated word battle and later on regrets her choices because she's thought of something better. No, the girl has a little bit of an attitude, and along with a carefree disposition, it allows her to speak without hesitation. She's also got a wicked sense of humor, because Miss Amos would surely choose laughter over seriousness any day.
WILD: Mandy's ideals are all about fun. She has an outgoing personality that grants her the freedom to live on the edge. Parties, roadtrips, and spontaneous activities are all common to the lifestyle of Amanda Amos. Why waste time being bored, when you could be enjoying yourself trying something new? Life is full of risks, so why avoid them? She finds it worse to regret a decision and wonder 'what if', than to go ahead and try it.
INVENTIVE: The girl is always coming up with her own unique and clever new ideas. She isn't just a blonde with a head full of air, she actually has an intelligently functioning brain in there. A little on the odd side, she thinks of uncommon solutions to things. If there is a problem and you ask Mandy for help, don't expect an easily obvious solution. She'll give you the rational, yet creative conclusion instead. For Mandy, this quality of her personality is probably a major factor in her talent for acting.

Likes: Music, Parties, Men, Acting, Photography, Graphic Design, Coffee & Tea, Books, Videogames, Peppermint, Skating, Tobogganing, Board Games, Adventure/Thriller Movies, Debating, Caramel.
Dislikes: Boredom, Bratty Children, Dishonesty, Classes, Bubblegum Icecream, Cooked Carrots, Steamed Potatoes, Dull Lectures, Unsociable People, Desperate Teens.
Positive Traits: SPONTANEOUS: Mandy isn't afraid to make a choice and deal with the consequences. If you can't decide between painting a room purple or red, she'll mix the paint together and see what happens. Bored? Skydiving it is. Hungry? Throw all the fridge leftovers in a pan and cook it up.
RESPONSIBLE: With a carefree attitude and will to risk, Mandy is bound to run into unfavorable consequences some of the time. When she does, she deals with it. She cleans up the mess, and she moves on.
LOYAL: Mandy likes to keep her friends, but at the same time has been known to lose a few. The ones who do earn her trust and care are ones she'll never betray. Respect is a given, but only the closest earn her true loyalty.
Negative Traits: SELFISH: Sometimes the girl makes decisions only thinking of herself, and it comes back to bite her in the ass. She has unfortunately caused quite a few broken hearts due to the selfishly oblivious nature of her choices.
JUDGEMENTAL: Mandy tends to make first impression, book cover decisions before she really gets to know someone. That's why if you want to be part of her social circle, you've gotta make a favorable first impression that she'll remember.
OUT-GOING: Sure, being outgoing can be a good thing, but sometimes Mandy lets herself get carried away when she should really just be saying no.
Greatest Ambition: Performing has always been a passion for the middle Amos child. She loves acting, and hopes to someday fullfill a successful career. Somehow, she's always seen herself as the star of a sitcom based on her everyday life.
Greatest Fear: To be anything but memorable. People know who Amanda Amos is, and she fears the day that people start to forget.
`History !
Amanda Miranda Amos was born on November 8th, 1987 to proud parents Jade and Harper Amos. At that point, she was the second child, born only two years after her brother Seth. At the time of her birth, the Amos family was living in Colorado while Harper was busy exploring his career in entertainment management. What did that mean? Oh, he was a local band manager. It was just a stepping stone to what he would later become.
Three years after Amanda was born, she was followed by her sister, Alexia. That was it, the family was done with having more kids. Harper seemed to be gaining success in the business, after his first band was signed by a small record label, and he was offered a job at a label in New York. It was only a few months later when the family re-located to New York and settled in. Harper's new job proved to be quickly advancing, as he gained promotion in less than a year, and acquired an amazing new status to his salary. While money had been tight in Colorado, it seemed that life in New York was a little more luxurious.
The Amos children were very independent, yet very reliant on each other. When Mandy was about ten years old, Jade started to get back into her own passion for art, and took a part-time job at a small local artist's studio as an assistant. Time for her children always came first, especially while Harper was spending less and less time at home. When the family was all together in one place it was so rare that it was always a joyful occasion, spent catching up with each other's lives and participating in family activities.
Jade encouraged the essence of freedom in her children, therefore inspiring them to be whatever they desired. She didn't force them into conforming to taking community dance lessons, or karate classes, instead, she let them choose. Her free spirit was always an important inspiration in her loving relationship with her children. As they grew, the three developed quite unique personalities, and were known for being pleasant to be around.
Alexia, Amanda, and Seth stayed close, but there did exist a normal amount of sibling rivalry in the Amos household. Mandy started to change in her first year of high school, and took on a bit more of a feminine exterior, and a little more of a risk-taking personality. She got into trouble here and there, but learned from her experiences, and liked the freedom of being able to make her own choices. By the time high school ended, her passion for acting and film-making was solidified, and she just knew that her future wouldn't be in anything else. When she discovered an article in the newspaper about Seattle Bay University, her interest peaked, and she sent in an application. The good news eventually came, and Mandy was ecstatic to begin a new chapter of her life at the school.

Best Memory: One day when Mandy was about 11, she and her siblings were out at the corner store getting a bag of flour for their mom who was baking cookies. The brand she wanted happened to be on the top shelf in one of the aisles of the store, so the 3 kids devised a clever plan to sit on each other's shoulders to reach it. They had mistakenly toppled a few bags of flour onto the floor and caused a huge mess, to which the store owner came down the aisle screaming at them. Frantically, they tried to run, only to slip in the flour and get a face full of the powder. Regaining their footings, they bolted out of the store and down the street a few blocks to their apartment building. When they walked into the kitchen covered in flour, their mom frowned and said "I suppose I should have specified that I'd like you to bring it home in the bag." And all four of them burst into gut-wretching laughter that carried on for quite a few minutes.
Worst Memory: Amanda had just turned seventeen and she'd just gotten into a relationship with a new boyfriend, who happened to be a close friend since elementary school. A couple of weeks into the relationship, she'd found out that her best friend Leila actually had feelings for this boy that Mandy was going out with. It apparently tore the friend apart to see them dating, but she had never been able to tell Mandy until she snapped. Knowing that she had unknowingly caused her friend so much pain, Amanda felt absolutely horrible, and vowed to avoid doing such a thing ever again. Needless to say, she and the boy broke up. It just wasn't working anyway.
