Name: everret dean hadley
Nickname(s): everret, that's it.
Major: film
Age: nineteen
Grade: freshmen
Birthdate: august 11
Orientation: heterosexual
Location: phoenix, arizona
`Appearance ,,
face. Everret has strong bone structure, giving off the impression of someone older, someone tougher then he really is. In shape it is rather squarish, his jaw bone is in line with his forehead and his chin though narrower then the jaw, is square in its own right. He always seems to have a stern, almost brooding look about him that can almost be considered a turn off to some. However, it is more of a thoughtful stare then a "cruel" stare. His eyes are a basic brown and they have a softness about them that is usually overshadowed by his ungroomed brows. His nose is rather larger then he would have wished for it to be but there are no unsightly bumps that would have caused him distress. His lips are neither overly thin or perfectly plumped. His cupid's bow is pronounced to a suitable level and his lips are often turned in some sort of a crooked smile. His face is rather plane jane but it suits his rather ordinary personality.
body. Everret stands just over six feet tall at six foot one and a half. He does not have one of those overly bulky, weight lifter bodies, but he is still far from that lanky cross country runner look. It is very important for him to remain in shape but he has always had a naturally slim fit. Athletics were never really his thing so there was never the need to be in the weight room twenty four seven. He is just as muscular as he needs to be. His skin has a natural tan to it so he never has to worry about things such as pasty skin or whatnot. Guys have a lot less things to worry about and he's very laid back and low maintenance. He simply cares enough to look good and that's about it.
fashion. Everret's a guy, and guys don't usually care so much about trivial things such as clothing. Most have the whatever is clean is wearable kind of view. Everret doesn't exactly follow along with this viewpoint because he actually cares what look he is portraying. First impressions are important and he likes to look clean and put together. Sure, whenever he plans on spending the day in his dorm he has no qualms with throwing on a t-shirt and sweatpants but whenever he's attending something that requires a more formal appearance, he's the one with the most dress shirts and ties in his closet. He's comfortable in things such as vests, suits, and ties because they fit his personality. Nobody could possibly say anything negative about a well put together outfit.

Best Feature: hair. "Well, I guess if I had to pick a best feature I think my hair's pretty good. It's dark brown with a little bit of a messy wave to it. It's very versatile, I can comb it back or leave it with that natural bed head look. It's pretty low maintenance so I guess that's why I like it and people seem to tell me it always looks good so I guess that's it."
Worst Feature: feet. "Hmm, I guess if I had to pick a worst feature I think it would have to be my feet. I mean, they are huge, like GINORMOUS and they make me trip over things, a lot of things. The are probably the main reason I never succeeded in any kind of sporting even. It is kind of hard to succeed after all when you spend the majority of the playing time lying flat on the ground."
`Personality ,,
studious. Everret has always been the type whose grades are extremely important to him. He probably spends more time in his dorm then he actually should. It isn't really for his grades benefits though, after all, he's always been an A student. It has more to do with his own discomfort in social situations. He's not really an anti-social retard, he just doesn't enjoy the large group gatherings. He's much more suited for the intimate, small gatherings with a close group of friends. He tends to find the party animals a little loud and obnoxious and those who try to force him in to awkward situations are sure to get on his bad side rather swiftly. But for the most part, if you wish to find him he's probably the one editing films late into the night, locked in his dorm room, or bailing out on the big Saturday night bash.
charming. Everret is the old fashion gentlemen, and very much a fan of chivalry. Guy opens door for girl, guy buys dinner for girl, guy stands up when girl does, etc etc. He's pretty much the classic bring you flowers and chocolates before a date kind of guy. If there was anyone to sweep you off your feet, he would be it. That was how he was always raised. His mother entered him in things such as cotillion and other ballroom dancing and manners classes. Everret believes in respect, not only in respecting your elders or superiors but women as well. Through many a trial and error he has found the way to a girl's heart is to simply be the good guy. Sure, they all fall for the bad guy but when it comes time to settle down, they want a real man that can protect and provide for them. He's good with his words and although he might seem a little tough and brooding on the outside, as cliche as it sounds, he really is a giant teddy bear that just wants to be loved.
trustworthy. Everret has always looked down on those who gossip. Gossiping to him is just a desperate cry for attention and he tries not to be either the subject of it or the spreader of it. If something happens to catch his ear he will certainly not be one to spread it around and it's highly unlikely he will actually believe it without solid proof. People have always seemed to be fascinated by the fact that he has never told someone else's secret. It has actually become a game of sorts, a little experiment or so you could call it. People tell him there own dirty little, completely fabricated skeletons in hopes to catch him in the act of telling a best bud. It always floors him why it is so difficult for people to believe that there is still an honest soul out there in the world. That's Everret Hadley for you though, he's your basic everyday good guy who makes the perfect shoulder to cry on. Don't be fooled however, he isn't some kind of Doctor Phil here, if you want advice it would be best to go to someone else.

Positive Traits: affectionate. Everret is the touchy feely kind of guy. He never shies away from a hug whether it's from someone he has known for only a short period of time or a longer on. He's known as the "cuddler" in relationships and never seems to forget the little things such as telling girls they are beautiful or their hair looks nice. He's never been dumped for not being loving enough, he'd be far more likely to get the boot for being clingy or something else of the sort.
forgiving. To him, forgiveness is a virtue and if you can't forgive others, there is no way you will be able to forgive yourself. Everret hates the wall that is put up out of anger for something that happened in the past and he will readily accept an apology if only to avoid it. An apology has always been good enough for him, if someone says they are sorry he naturally assumes that they are being sincere in what they say. Being overly forgiving is not without it's own problems however. What Everret lacks is the wisdom to know when enough is enough, to know when people have run out of second, third, and fourth chances. He has to learn that there is only so much forgiving of a single person he can do before he is just being taken advantage of.
responsible. Ever since his mother's death, Everret has always been responsible. Guess you could call it trying to compensate for the loss of the mother figure in the house. His father was a good father but he was at a loss when it came to parenting. Big business had always been his thing. Thus Everret was left to care for his beloved younger sister Sophie and handle the basic family finances. Keeping an entire household in line was not an easy task and Everret was forced to grow up very fast in order to keep up. Going through those kinds of experiences however have taught him the many needed lessons in life such as handling finances and raising a child.
Negative Traits: indecisive. As hard working as Everret is, he lacks the proper leadership skills that would make him great. Sure he is courageous and bold but he can make a decision, big or small, to save his life. He does it to himself really, always weighing the consequences of the action he takes. That's alright for big things like an actress change or something, but it should not be that difficult to decide which kind of dish soap to use. He relies way too heavily for others to take the decision off his shoulders and maybe he's just not dominate enough to take the lead on large scale projects. This phase, or at least he likes to call it that though he's had it for as long as he can remember, definitely inhibits his dreams of being a big time director.
trusting. Oh the many problems that can come with being overly trusting. Now, Everret isn't exactly to the extreme gullible level. He probably would not look up if someone were to say gullible was written on the ceiling. However, he is definitely a little too easy to take advantage of. Poor soul, he honestly does believe in the goodness of human nature and fails to realize that some people just enjoy being ruthless and cruel. Example, someone turns in a script extremely late and claims it was because they were mourning for their beloved dog Snoopy. Everret is more then likely to extend the deadline another two weeks and the proceed to go and buy some kind of parting gift for the lost soul. Now that, is going just a touch overboard wouldn't you think?
insensitive. Though it's hardly the case, Everret can come off as highly insensitive without really even realizing it. He throws himself so aggressively into his work that he can appear cold to a person not exactly familiar with his ways. When Everret is working on some sort of project he finds it to generally be a nuisance when he is disturbed and thus would probably come up with some terse reply usually to the meaning of, "go away". However, once gotten to know, the outer shell he has is understood merely to be his focus and commitment and not at all meant to be seen as a rude and insensitive stay away sign.
Greatest Ambition: Everret's greatest ambition in life has less to do with himself and more to do with his baby sister Sophie. All he wishes is to give her the best life that he can, especially since their father is hardly ever home. However, his biggest goal for himself is to direct his own movie, award winning or not it would be enough just to see his own work on the big screen.
Greatest Fear: Everret is terrified of hospitals, he spent enough time in one when he was ten and praying his mother's cancer would just go away. His worst fear in life is losing either his sister or his father. Though him and his father do not have that close a relationship, the least thing he would want would be to lose him as well.
`History ,,
They really were quite the unusual pair, Everret's parents that is. Olivia and Daniel were complete opposites to say the least. While Daniel was a power hungry, wealthy, and extremely ruthless business man, Olivia made a living working as a waitress just to get by. Looking at their pedigrees it would seem quite strange that someone as eligible as Daniel would even cast a second look at the table busting beauty. But that was exactly what she was, a beauty. It was probably the looks that had hooked the man six years her senior, but it was the laid back and gentle personality that kept him. She balanced him, so said their friends. And she truly was down to earth, even after the marriage when she was capable of being a stay at home mom for life, Olivia insisted on keeping a day job while the children attended school.
Everret was the first child born to the couple, and although Daniel would deny the child was planned for years to come, most close to the pair would say the day his son was born was the best memory Daniel had. Everret was always a momma's boy though, even when he was just a tot. When daddy's never home it becomes very easy to just cling to the person who shows you affection, feeds you, and generally all around takes care of you. After all, it was his mother who taught him to walk, talk, ride a bike, pretty much all the important things at that age. Hell, daddy wasn't even in his vocabulary for the first year that he was actually speaking. That had to tell him something.
The single greatest moment in Everret's life was when his beloved sister Sophie was born. And while yes, he was only four, it almost seemed like he was fully aware of the great impact he would have on her life. Together the two would comfort each other for those many weeks in which they saw their father for maybe only an hour at a time, and they helped each other come to grips with their mother's disease. To Sophie it always seemed that their mother's condition was only temporary. After all, she was on four and a half when Olivia was diagnosed. Everret didn't have the heart to tell her the severity of the illness and what would happen to the two of them when the cancer came to its final term.
The problem was that when Olivia was actually diagnosed with cancer, she was actually rather far along and the treatment only extended her life, not exactly saved it. Everret had just turned ten and Sophie was still a baby at six when she finally passed away. Sophie took it very hard but Everret had come to terms with the death of his mother months ago. Daniel never shed a tear, he more or less suffered in silence by completely shutting himself off to his children and any sort of family friends. He completely immersed himself in his work, taking business trips that were sometimes over a month long. It was all good though, he hired a nanny to do all the parenting of his offspring. By the time they were old enough he shipped them off to a well known boarding school in Phoenix, Arizona anyway.
Everret forced himself to grow up fast. The nanny couldn't be much of a mother to Sophie and the young girl pushed away any sort of affection anyway. Though he too didn't make much of a mother, Everret was one of the few people that his sister even spoke to. Most of their time spent at boarding school was Everret trying to keep her from completely blocking herself off from all society. Clearly he hardly had time for himself and though he was far from the popular crowd, he wasn't so much of a social reject either. Everything was rather uneventful, the brother sister duo received a weekly allowance that was necessary to provide for the basic goods. Sure enough the allotted cash also seemed to cover whatever the kids wanted. Maybe it made him feel less like a terrible parents, keeping them quiet with bribes of cash.
It was difficult for Everret to actually choose to leave for college. WUofA was always his dream and although he was completely thrilled to be accepted, the idea of leaving his sister in Arizona was a difficult concept for him. For once though he allowed himself to do something that would make himself happy so he accepted the invitation to the school and that's all there really is to tell.

Best Memory: While most people would say the day they graduated or the day they received that oh so important college acceptance letter was the best day in their life, Everret's would have to be the day his baby sister was born. Older brothers are naturally protective, and Everret was no different. From the day his mother told him that he would be having a little sister the boy could barely contain himself with excitement. Looking back on the relationship that him and his sister have shared over the years, that one event in his life (her birth that is), was the only event Everret could honestly say that he couldn't have lived without.
Worst Memory: Everret wouldn't have to think twice about his worst memory. Back when he was ten and his mother was first diagnosed with breast cancer, his whole family was turned upside down. His father had never been home much to begin with but with his lovely wife dieing a little more every day after battling for just about a year and a half, he grew even more scarce. It wasn't the entire ordeal that was the worst for Everret. After the realization hit that his mother was most likely going to die, he was able to accept it and just help in any way he could. It was the first initial moments of knowing but not quite understanding all the facts that hurt him the worst. How are you supposed to tell your ten year old son that you have cancer and it is a lot further along then previously realized. It was a very difficult concept for him to grasp.
