madison hurst !
The library was dead quite as a lone freshmen walked over to a seemingly vacant and seclusive area of the second floor. "There we go!" a hushed, whisper came from Madison's mouth as she slid the copy of 1984 back onto it's shelf. She owned the story and had read it about a dozen times before so to anyone who memorized the girl's book collection it was quite obvious that she had not checked it out with the intention of reading it. Lucky for her no one she knew actually knew what books she owned, or would probably care about what she was doing. Which was a good thing because she had checked the books out in order to complete a super secret mission she was on. A mission that had led her into the library only hours before to find six of her favorite books that she then brought back to her dorm room, and wrote happy little message inside on of their brilliant pages.
Sure, this was a little illegal defacing books and what not, but the girl didn't care. She had found a note on one of the benches out in the school's grounds. The note had issued a dare that was supposedly from the fabled WUofA dare club. Her first thought was just to re-fold the note and leave it on the bench, but as she stood there thinking about it the girl became more intrigued. So intrigued in fact that within ten minutes she had already gone to the library and checked out the books. Stopping to think about it now Madi wondered if perhaps that wasn't the smartest idea. If someone were to find the notes she had left and gone to see who had taken them out of the library on the same day.. Oh well that was highly unlikely. What would they do anyways? Make her buy six new copies?
As juvenile as the dare had been the freshman couldn't help but feel a little mischievous as she walked over to another book case put away her last book. All About Electricity. She had gotten impatient when she went to pick out the books and grabbed this one randomly. In fact when the film student had opened it appeared to be brand new. Which made her feel a little bit guilty about writing in it, but it was just some silly science book certainly no one was overly passionate about it's well being.
