Witty ,, Outrageous ,, Misguided
Name: Madison Lee Hurst
Nicknames: Madi
Major: Film
Age: Eighteen
Grade: Freshman
Birthdate: August 8th
Orientation: Heterosexual
Location: Vancouver, British Columbia -- Canada
`Appearance ,,
This petite blonde stands in a five foot one, and her weight fluctuates in between one hundred and one hundred ten pounds. She is not the type of girl to dress formal, yet she doesn't dress like a slut either. For the most part a happy medium is achieved, and the girl knows when to dress accordingly. After all she wouldn't want to go to a job interview in sweats, or a Halloween party in slacks would she? Her ideal style is something that extenuates her positive attributes, and also makes her feel pretty.
To maintain this look Madison tries to keep to pastels as well as her favorite colors purple and blue. Most tops she purchases are fancy tank tops, but in the colder seasons she gets to use layering which is equally as fun to go shopping for as it is to mix and match the items afterwards. Usually she'll wear any old pair of jeans, though she does prefer lighter colored denim with small holes and tears in them. Rarely does she buy very dark denim, and never does she buy jeans that are so ripped they look like a survivor of a bear attack. For jewelry she tries to keep it light, a bracelet here, a necklace there, but her constant piece of bling would be earrings. She has a secret weakness for them, it's hard for the girl to walk into a store and not be able to find a decent pair of them.
Since the green eyed girl's favorite part of her face is her eyes that's where she tried to put the focus on. When applying her make up she uses a sheer coat of concealer over her face, which is followed up with a heavier coat of toner. Next Madi adds a thick line of black eyeliner to the bottom of her top lid, and a thin black layer lining under her eye. She then adds her eyeshadow which is decided by the color outfit she is wearing, and after a quick swiped of black mascara, a coat of candy gloss is added on her lips complete her most common daily look.

Best Feature: "Most people tell me that my smile is the most noticeable attribute, but I don't think that necessarily means it's my best feature. Personally I like my eyes the most."
Worst Feature: "Oh my gosh.. my arms are so disproportionate to the rest of my body. I swear it doesn't matter how much I work out I loss weight everywhere except there. I mean sure it's not that noticeable, but still I can't help but feel self-conscious over my chubby arms."
`Personality ,,
Witty ,, The perfect word to describe this girl. When not trying to make a spectacle out of herself Madison is a smart girl, and also tries to be serious. However, she has a hard time doing this since she has a very comedic personality. Over time however she has managed to master the delicate balance between humor and intelligence. Making sure when she does throw make a quip it's done tastefully not some stupid joke about your mom or your face.
Outrageous ,, Madi loves to have fun. It's one of her main priorities in life. She'll do whatever she feels like if she thinks it will entertain her. Sometimes this is at the expense of other people, and sometimes this involves her making a fool out of herself. It's like there's a part missing in her brain that filters out all the bad ideas. For the most part she is incapable of thinking about something and what will happen after she does it. Instead she just gets an idea in her head and goes for it. Most of her antics are harmless, but add in alcohol and things just get wild.
Misguided ,, This crazy party girl lives in the moment and quite frankly her wild side is her downfall. She's so caught up in being this fun girl that she can't focus on what really means something to her. Like school for instance, she doesn't know how to manage all aspects of her life so that she can be equally successful in all areas. Her need to be free over powers her rationality which causes her to make less than desirable decisions.

Positive Traits:
Independent ,, Entering college is one of the first times in a teenager's life that they are truly on their own. Most of them don't live with their parents still, and most of them don't have others to rely on if they get in to deep. This is why it's a good reason Madison has always been a free spirit. She likes to look after herself and can't stand when other people hover around her asking if she needs help with something. She'll figured it out.. eventually.
Upbeat ,, Take one look at Madi and you see the smiling, happy go lucky cheerleader type. Despite never actually being a cheerleader this girl has the stereotypical perky attitude of theirs down pat. She's the type of girl that can't help but be optimistic. She's always looking for good in the world, and trying to keep people in good spirits.
Outgoing ,, Some kids go through stages where they are really shy. It might be when they are a toddler, or even when they are a pre-teen, but that was one personality trait Madi never had. She's been outgoing and adventurous since she was just a little tot. She enjoys meeting new people and trying new things. Ask her to do something crazy like base jumping? She'll say sure I'll try it.
Negative Traits:
Unreliable ,, Madi has a tendency to forget the time. She also has on occasion forgotten to water the plants when asked to do it. Another thing she's famous for in sleeping in even if there is something necessary she needs to be doing. Her priorities aren't straight, and she certainly doesn't think about the consequences of her actions. She'll do something at the time because it sounds better than what actually needs to be done.
Pushy ,, When something doesn't go the way Madison wants it she tends to get very agitated and a little angry. It's hard for her to leave something alone. If someone doesn't want to talk about something, but she wants to know what's going on she will keep asking until she gets at least some form of an answer.
Inconsiderate ,, The only person Madison Hurst has ever looked out for was herself. Her needs come before everyone else's. If someone says they have to meet somewhere at five o'clock but she needs extra time to finish her makeup, looks like that person will be waiting for her to get ready. At least it's either that or leave her ass there.
Most intriguing quirk: Whenever Madi tells a big lie she scratches her knuckles. It's not something she does on purpose rather just a nervous habit she unconsciously exhibits.
Greatest Ambition: Madison ultimately wants to own her own production company. She loves every aspect of the film-making industry from pre-production to post-production she likes to work with everyone and being a part of every step of the process. If she was to own a well-known production company she could decide what movies she wanted to make and what job she got to do such as writing, directing, or even acting. Madi would love nothing more than to become a household name, and someone young filmmakers look up to.
Greatest Fear: Having her dreams get squashed. Finding that she can't do what she wants to in the industry or not be able to get a job. Learning that everything she has hoped and worked for was all for nothing and she would have to start from scratch again.
`History ,,
The bubbly, blonde, firecracker who most know as Madi Hurst grew up the youngest and only daughter of a fairly influential Canadian-American family. Her father was a doctor who grew up in Boston, and her mother was an economist from Ontario. Both of the girl's parents moved to Vancouver, and awhile after the two met through mutual friends. They began dating and it wasn't long before they realized they wanted to be together forever and tied the knot.
Madison had a rather normal childhood, nothing unusual happened. She went to school, made friends, and fought with her older brother from time to time. However, one thing that sparked the girl's interest from a young age was the camcorder. Her mother first let her use it when she was six, and she just walked around the house filming everything she could. As time went on Madison began to develop an interest in writing as well. On rainy days when none of her friends could play she would spend time writing scripts as she liked to call them. Really they were just a few pages of dialog that really didn't amount to any plot developments or anything that made an entertaining story. Though this turned out to be a favorite past time of the blonde as well as her friends and neighborhood kids. They would get together and hold casting calls, then they could act out the scripts as Madi recorded them. Sometimes they would go improve, something they would sing, sometimes they just recorded themselves talking. Anything remotely interesting the young filmmaker would get on film.
In high school Madi took part in many activites from Tennis to Student Government, and managed to maintain a respectable A- average. Still the girl's favorite past time wasn't school related. Her friends would get together and make music videos, where they dressed up and lip synched to popular songs. It became like a Friday night ritual, after the football game they'd go to Madi's and pick a song to record. Then they all waited anxiously the next day for her to call and say she'd uploaded it to you-tube. Eventually news of the girl's caught on and someone on the school newspaper wrote an article on them their junior year. After that they were like the high school's celebrities. Sure she'd always been popular but their new found stardom launched them into a new league. Everyone was talking about them, people constantly asked Madi to be in their videos, and people also constantly wrote trash about them on their website, still despite all the criticizing Madi loved that her worked was being noticed and in most cases appreciated, and even though she liked when her fellow peers and even teachers talked about her that wasn't why Madi liked making videos. It was just a passion she had, and decided it was what she had to do with her life.
She began looking into Art schools. Her original plan had been to go to Los Angeles to study film there, but when she looked into things it turned out Seattle had one of the best programs for Film she could find. So she applied to WUofA and was accepted a few months later. After moving to Seattle the first thing she realized was her brother. It was nice to have him around, but it also felt like he was smothering her, she started to wish she could be completely on her own. Through out her life he had always tried to protect his baby sister, and she had always made a point to tell him she could take care of herself. Another thing that changed once the girl began WUofA was that her best friend from high school, Andrea, was attending the same university, in fact they had decided the year before that they were going to room together. However, this idea of didn't turn out picture perfect like they had expected. Madi began to also feel like Andie was smothering her and began getting annoyed with her. The two had always been very different, but it wasn't until they lived in the same dorm that Madi realized she didn't know the girl as well as she thought she did. So since Madison had always been a free spirit and loved to meet new people that was what she started doing. It seemed that her bestie wasn't as into it as she was. So she started going places with out her. Madi wasn't about to let her get in the way of broadening her horizons. At first she'd only go out a few nights a week but it quickly turned to the point where Madison was spending all of her time partying and barely seeing Andie. Their relationship was undoubtedly strained.
The new lifestyle in itself was also challenging. Within the first two months Madi already found it hard to balance school and other activities. Her love for alcohol and fun college parties made her seriously mix up her priorities. She's sleeping in and skipping classes all so she can go out and have a crazy night. University is a lot different than high school was and she still hasn't made the adjustment. It's not hard to see that with her newfound freedom the girl is making some rather poor choices. Choices that could effect her future negatively if she doesn't change soon.

Best Memory: The fifteen year old version of Madison thought that a family trip to London would be one of the most boring trip she'd ever been on. Right? Wrong! A family trip when you are well into your teen years is probably most kids worst nightmare, but after the first two days of giving her parents grief the young girl actually started to enjoy herself. She immersed herself into the British culture and found that she really loved it. This however is not why it was Madi's best memory so far in her life. This was the first time she ever went to a film festival. It was there that she fell in love with the art of film-making and decided that she could actually make a career out of one of her favorite past times which was creating scripts and videotaping all aspects of her life she could.
Worst Memory: The summer she spent in Paris her junior year of high school. Her parents forced her into this submersion program, even when she had absolutely no interest whatsoever in France or the French. She actually ended up spending most of her time with an Italian boy who she fell in love with, but broke her heart when she found out he wasn't serious about her. After that she spent most the time in her room, barely learned more than ten sentences of French, and also got mugged twice during her stay in the wonderful country. It was just a horrible experience that the girl never wishes to relive, as in never wants to see or hear about France again.
Top 3 life-changing moments:
Being Accepted to Washington University of Arts ,, this was the day that Madison realized her dream was becoming a reality. That if she really wanted it bad enough she could become a fantastic, respected filmmaker.
Going to the London Film Festival ,, After watching the compilation of films on display and how unique and wonderful they were Madi decided to take her videotaping obsession to an entirely new level.
Her Mother Giving Her a Camera ,, The day her mother placed that camera in her hand she had no idea what it would mean the her daughter, and the effect it would have on her entire life.
`Writing Skill ,,
Warren took a look at his half empty glass. Man he drank that fast. That was the thing about drinking during the day, you had to pace yourself and count how many you had. Sure his alcohol tolerance was high even by his frat brother's standards, but it still wasn't a good idea to go around drinking large amounts of beer. Something the guy never happened to be really good at. When he hung out with his buddies they'd normally drink casual which sometimes led to them being wasted by dinnertime. Something that was quite embarrassing to not only himself but also reflected poorly on the fraternity. "More like it's midnight somewhere. After all that's when all the hardcore drinking starts." He said as Lexie ordered herself her usual. A drink Warren knew to be a cosmopolitan. Despite the two's dysfunctional relationship he had to admit that he knew an awful lot about the girl. Which was saying something considering she tended to be a really private person, borderline defensive even. However, Warren always got the feeling that behind her tough girl exterior she really was just trying to cover up a part of herself she didn't like. Though this was only a theory, after all their relationship had never been and he doubted would ever be on an emotional level.
Warren wasn't shocked when Lexie quickly consumed her first drink and then ordered another. She was a big drinker, of girly drinks that was. The kind of drinks that it took more of to get drunk off of. "Nah not at all.." Warren replied casually to Lexie's remark. He knew she must have assumed he was back together with Sydney. "..I mean yea we're back together, but I've just been really swamped with graduate work." Warren left out the fact that he knew his girlfriend would disapprove of their interacting. As if somehow Lexie was trying to prove some sort of point, and being the stubborn guy he was Warren wasn't going to allow that. Besides the main reason he hadn't been out was in fact because of school. It was his first official year being in the graduate degree program on the fast track to becoming a doctor, and it was just as hectic as he had thought it would be. In fact the year before he had almost given up his position as Sigma Chi President because he didn't think he would be able to juggle both his studies and the fraternity. "Plus the house is really busy planning the Halloween party."
Warren's phone started to vibe, and he picked it up from off the bar. He read --15 mins sry!-- as he flipped open his T-Mobile G1 phone. Great, it was going to take them longer to get here then he hand originally thought. "Looks like I'm going to need another beer." Warren proclaimed then chugged the rest of his drink. It really was sad that the guy saw drinking alcohol as a way to pass the time, but while he was sitting at the bar he figured he miles well make it of use.
