. . . there would be darkness and c h a o s. The afternoon so far had been devoted to shopping. Based on the bills the credit card holder had managed to rack up in a few hours most people would suspect she was buying things for a special occasion. Perhaps she lost some weight and needed new clothes, or maybe she was rewarding herself for some sort of job well done. Yet, none of these possible scenarios were true. Shopping sprees were just something Madison did on a regular basis. She by no means had the closet space to fit all the clothes she purchased nor should she really have been wasting such large amounts of money of something she didn't need, but her parents footed the bills, and it was a sort of therapy for her. Shopping was something she was amazing at, and even though it wasn't that hard to do in the first place, for a few hours it made her feel like she was in control of something.
The shopaholics bags hit together as she walked down one of the streets of the Seattle Center. They continued to change positions all the way down the street, and Madison had a hard time opening the door to Scoops, when she finally arrived. She realized she must of looked like a complete fool trying to make her way into the shop with almost the entire contents of a whole store on her arms, but she didn't care. It had been a long, but nice, day of shopping and she wanted to finish it up with her favorite treat. If shopping was her first weakness, then ice cream was definitely the runner-up, and even though she tried to limit the amount she had most the time she caved in to her cravings.
Madi finally got into the shop and squeezed herself into the line behind eight other people. She didn't think the wait would be that long, that was the nice thing about ice cream for the most part it was really simple to make. Then again if everyone in front of her ordered some crazy complicated drink it would take maybe ten minutes, tops. The bags were starting to get heavier though and the girl really wanted to start home soon. However, she decided to take the time and look over the menu. Perhaps she would try something different from her usual chocolate chip cookie dough shake. Then again she wasn't really one for change and would probably just stick with what she was used to.

NOT DONE. Jackson was in a particularly broody mood today. He needed to run - and what better place than the Seattle Center? It had the perfect outdoor path to run. Shaded by trees with a smooth pathway, Jackson could easily get lost in his thoughts while getting a good cardio workout. After an hour, he did enough mind-clearing and enough jogging...and enough dwelling on the past to last him for a week.
